Rating: Summary: No Passion! Review: Although the plot is very believable and the premise is good. I just wasn't taken aback by this book like I have all the other Lori Foster books I've read so far. Not her best work.I love Lori Foster and her books but this one didn't do it for me. The characters didn't seem as full and well rounded as in her other works. Although Del seemed an interesting character and I liked Mick I was more interested in the lives of the supporting characters.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding! Review: As a faithful reader of Lori Foster's works, let me tell you that this was a treat. CITA is dynamite in a bottle! And since it is a longer, single title - we have more to love! Mick and Delilah are funny, sexy and definitely one of my favorite couples. If you haven't picked up a Lori Foster novel - What in the world are you waiting for? You are in for a real treat.
Rating: Summary: Raw Intoxicatingly Sexy Review: As I find with more and more with contemporary romance books that I read, I find that women are more frank and aggressive about satiating their sexual desires, as well as their lover's. It appears that the modern day man, "Samson", still desires, respects and appreciates this "Delilah" of the 21st century. Although the "Delilah", Del, of "Caught In The Act" is a true seductress and even brazen at times, she is not a prostitute nor deceitful, but a successful mystery writer unsuspectingly caught in a real life murder mystery. The "Samson", Mick, of our story is mouth watering sex personified.
Mick is an undercover detective (and Del's secrete admirer) whose shot while trying to protect her from being killed during a deliberately botched jewelry heist. Delilah feels obligated to personally express her appreciation to this unknown man who would so easily lay down his life for hers and ends up inviting him home with her - so that she can play his personal nurse and look after him. As you can imagine, he gets more than what the doctor prescribed...
LF has a good balance of romance, playfulness, sexy, mystery, danger and suspense. Everything about this book is fast and furious - raw passionate lust progressing into a respectful and endearing marriage.
Rating: Summary: Fast, Funny, and Provocative Review: As usual Lori Foster delivers a punch! I was pulled in from the first page and couldn't stop till I'd read the last word. Mick Dawson, is the perfect possessive, loving, indestructable Hero. He first stole my heart in Bequiled. While in that story, he was a young man struggling with trying to gain his footing in life, he even then showed his overwhelming sense of honor. He helped and took care of Angel, in that book, and now he's taking bullets for his one true love, Delilah Piper(aka. Del Piper) in his own story. He stopped my heart with his painful past and sped it up again with his sensual slow loving ways. Lori Foster introduces Mick's two, loyal-to-the-bone, friends Zack and Josh. And ladies you'll fall head-over-heals for all three of these fellas! I simply can't wait for the next two books in this wonderfully fast paced, sexy-as-sin series!!! Don't walk, run to your nearest bookstore, or order it right here on Amazon, whatever, just get this book, and enjoy!

Rating: Summary: This hot, sexy, and fabulous love story is a Harlequin? Review: Caught in the Act came well recommended to me and now I know why. Before I started reading, I wrinkled my nose at the fact that this was a harlequin book. I used to read their thin novels back in the early 80's, and there was nothing special about them that I recalled. Now that I've finished Caught in the Act, I realize this is why no one should judge a book by it's cover. Caught in the Act is VERY special. Harlequin really has come a long way if they are now able to attract an Author of this high caliber. I loved her book Too Much Temptation, and so I told myself not to be too disappointed if Caught wasn't as good since I thought TMT was the perfect romance novel. I wasn't disappointed as I was hooked from Chapter one! I think I even liked Caught in the Act even better than TMT. Needless to say, I'll be heading out to look for more of her books now. When Mick an undercover vice-detective first spots Del (a semi-famous writer) jogging by, he is intrigued and attracted to her. After two weeks of watching her jog by daily, he decides to approach her. It's fast and furious action and passion after that. I mean passion with a capital P!!! Lori Foster's writing is flawless. Her heroines are smart, sassy and hold nothing back. The dialogue is hot, sexy and on the mark. I never once put the book down and said, "noone would ever say that in real life!". If you're in the mood to read a very hot, very good contemporary romance, go get Caught in the Act. I recommend it very highly.

Rating: Summary: It is finally here !! Review: Caught in the Act is the answer to the many reader demands that Lori Foster write a single title book. She answers that demand in her usual way with hunky heroes that you want to take home with you and heroines you wouldn't mind being related to. Caught in the Act introduces Mick the undercover cop and his two buddies, a paramedic and a fireman. If you have read Lori Foster's other books then you know that I am impatiently waiting for Treat Her Right and Mr. November, so I can spend more time with these everyday heroes. If you haven't read Lori Foster's books before, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? This is a great time to start. Just be warned...you will be spending some time ordering her older books!
Rating: Summary: Get Caught Up In CITA Review: Discriminating cop, Mick Dawson can't get the woman out of his mind, and every time he sees her, his libido skyrockets. It's been two weeks since he first laid eyes on her, and now is the time for him to finally make his move. He has to see her up close and talk to her, so he follows her into a jewelry store. Mystery writer, Delilah Piper froze in fear when two armed robbers entered the jewelry store. She was terrified when someone dragged her to the ground and covered her body with his, until she realized that the man was trying to protect her. She was completely shocked when that same man took a bullet that was meant for her. Thinking that Delilah is in jeopardy and wanting to protect her, Mick moves into her home. Delilah, finding Mick heroic and unlike any other man she's ever met, welcomes him into her home and heart. Things are heating up between these two, but what happens when the robber wakes up and says that Delilah was in on the heist? CAUGHT IN THE ACT is one sexy story! The characters are bold and vital, with one not overshadowing the other. Mick and Delilah were both the aggressors in the relationship, and I enjoyed that. Mick knows that Delilah is "the one", before even meeting her, and it was nice to read about a guy who isn't running away from his feelings. I was a little surprised that the sexual relationship started as rapidly and as intensely as it did, but Mick knows what he wants...and what he wants is Delilah. Now, what you should want is this book...so go out and purchase your copy today!
Rating: Summary: So disappointed Review: First off, this book is not out of print. I just bought it a couple of days ago at the bookstore...and, just as quickly returned it only half read. For a Lori Foster book, it sure was boring. I agree with another reviewer who said that it was silly at times. The heroine, Delilah "Del", seems to be a rough draft of Grace from "Too Much Temptation" which is a much better book. Maybe it gets better in the second half, but, quite frankly, I just didn't care after reading the first few chapters. The story starts off with a cop, Mick, who sees Del on the street and is immediately attracted to her. He follows her into a jewelry store. In the store Mick manages to foil an armed robbery attempt and gets shot in the process trying to protect Del. Del, in her gratitude, offers to nurse him back to health by moving Mick into her apartment during his recovery. Mick agrees because he feels that there was something fishy going on and Del's life may be in danger. From there the romance/suspense beings. I write "romance/suspense" about this book with much sarcasm, because the story was downright silly and unbelievable most times. The chemistry between Mick and Del was a bit forced and the dialogue didn't have the wit and wasn't as touching or steamy as "Too Much Temptation". I guess you can tell that I really loved "Too Much Temptation." That was one HOT book even though the heroine, Grace, was REALLY annoying at times. If you've read "Too Much Temptation", don't bother with this book as it is lukewarm at best.
