Summary: Read this Book sitting in Front of a Fan!
Review: This is the first book that I've read from Robin Schone, and I can hardly wait to get my hands on more of her books. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book. The story of a woman who needed love and affection and sought out what she felt she deserved. Ramiel, was fabulous, who wouldn't want someone like him to protect and love you. It had all the things that I enjoy about a book, love, sex, and an intriging story that is going on around them. A must read for historical romance buffs.

Summary: Not Impressed
Review: I had high hopes for this book. In the reviews Schone was compared to Thea Devine and Susan Johnson. I found no reason for such a comparison. Frankly this book was boring. The story was trite. I felt no connection to the characters and the few sex scenes that that book had were far from erotic. They held no appeal and absolutely no interest. The reason why I gave this book one star is because it was a new author and all though the book itself had not appeal the writing of the book grammar wise was nice. There was one part of the book that I disagree with the reviews about. Some people are saying that this book was gay bashing. I completely disagree with this. This book was not about gay relationships but about pedophiles and a homosexual and a pedophile are two entirely separate things. I believe that Schone was not trying to portray homosexuals in a bad way but instead she was trying to bring to light the unfortunate things that go on in our society. As an overall review I was far from impressed. There was a total lack of sensuality and the plot was severely lacking. She should take lesson on great plots from Catherine Coutler and great sex scenes from Thea Devine and/or Susan Johnson. This book is for tame readers who just want something to pass the time but not something that will touch the heart or make you hot.

Summary: Truly a gem!
Review: This book engages the reader...body, mind, and soul! Yes, it is very erotic. Especially the 1st 100 pages or so...and the hero and heroine haven't even touched! Ms. Schone knows the best way to write an erotic romance: engage the reader's MIND first. And don't write sex scenes just for the sake of having sex scenes. Ms. Schone treats her readers with respect by not writing down to them. She has brought quality writing to erotic romantic fiction! This book is exquisitely well-written. It is also emotional and enlightening. Do not miss it!

Summary: Better than I expected....
Review: ....usually when a romance book is this erotic, the author lets the plot slide for more sex scenes. Not so with this book. While still a very HOT read I was pleasantly surprised how interested in the characters and the story I was. Kudos to Ms. Schone. She got this one just right!

Summary: Impressed
Review: I was so impressed by this book that I went shopping for anything else she may have written. I found her first novel through the auction system and it too was a great find. I am looking forward to another book by her and I hope it is coming soon.....

Summary: A Can't-Put-It-Down Book
Review: This book had me forcing myself to stay awake so I could read 'just one more page,' and then just one more after that. It's been a long time since a book kept me up well after I should have been in bed, making me lament having to go to work the next morning.

The Lady's Tutor is one icy-hot read. Set in Victorian England, Robin Schone aptly conveys the cold, starched atmosphere of the era, while tugging at our heart strings when we read of Elizabeth's loveless marriage and the darker, seamier side of life in England at this time.

This is not a book for the gentle reader, but on the other hand, the love scenes, while erotic, are done tastefully and beautifully. I truly did not want this book to end. Kudos to Ms. Schone. It will be hard to top The Lady's Tutor, but I've no doubt she's up to the challenge and I look forward to her next book.

Summary: One of the few well-written erotic love stories
Review: I've read other authors who claim to test the boundaries between romance and eroticism (Susan Johnson and Thea Devine) and this is the first one where I have actually been able to believe that the lead protagonists have fallen in love. This is not just a book about two people meeting one another and immediately beginning to engage in meaningless, well, to quote Ally McBeal, "that verb"ing. It is very erotic, yes, because it isn't just about the actual act, but because it is also about anticipation. Besides the very well-written sub-plot, and the incredibly finely-drawn characters, all of which I enjoyed, the other benefit of this book is educational. It's like a far more interesting and engaging version of the Kama Sutra.

Summary: WOW
Review: I found this book to be wonderfully erotic without being "to much." It was sensual and I was sorry when it ended. The story was well told and wonderfully colorfull. I would love to read more of her books if they as descriptive as this one. All I wanted to do was curl up in bed and read it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Courageous
Review: Ms. Schone's writing grasped my interest with her short story in Captivating, but I had no idea how descriptive & absolutely titilating her work could be until I read The Lady's Tutor. It was fantastic! Can't wait to read more!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Marvelous, HOT, and Spellbinding.
Review: This is the first book I've read of Robin Schones but I pray it will not be my last. The storyline was captivating and the characters believable. I could not put this book down and once finished, had to read it again. This book will make your blood boil and keep the home fires burning.
