Summary: Secret Song
Review: Awesome would be the word that I would use to talk about this book. Roland was kindof an well a miniture beast of burden. But Daria had been sneaky. But all in all it turned out rather well. I just like to know what happened after they got back from Wales.

Summary: It was great!
Review: First of all, I love Catherine Coulter. She's the best.Secondly, I found this book to be great. Although at some points, I hated Roland, the hero, because he was very mean. I, however, did like when he realized that he loved his wife. The herione, Daria, is an awesome character. I found her to be brave, yet sensitive. The couple was funny, and I liked them best than the other couples from the same trilogy, but I still like them all.

Summary: A VERY GOOD BOOK
Review: I am not much into historical romances but this one was indeed one of a kind. . .The book and characters deeply touched my heart, and became friends from the very beginning. Wonderful book! If you liked this book, or want to read one that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift!

Summary: This guy is mean!!
Review: I have read all three books in this trilogy. I started with Earth Song not knowing that it was a trilogy. Earth Song is #2 and it is very enjoyable. It is funny and it held my interest. Then I went to #1 and finally to #3 which is Fire Song. The main male characters..Roland in Secret Song and I can't remember the guys name in Fire Song...border on insane! They are so jealous and suspicious through the entire book. Well, to be fair, the last 10 pages they find they really love the lady...too late for me I guess. At one point Daria got so mad at Roland she knocked him down some stairs. I enjoyed reading that part because he deserved it. I love Catherine Coulter's writing but found myself getting mad reading this after the guys had called their ladies lying and deceitful one too many times!!

Summary: Page turner
Review: I have read many of Catherine Coulter's books. This one was one of the best. I usually can put the books down and go to sleep, but this one kept me up several nights in a row, wanting to find out how Daria will get out of peril that happens to her. A good read!

Summary: This was the best romance book I have ever read.

Review: I must admit that I read this before I read the previous books in the trilogy. The love struggle between Roland and Daria was hilarious, heart renching, yet hilarious as well. I have become a big fan of Mrs. Coulter's work and I offer nothing but applause to her fabulous creations. I can't wait for the next novel!

Summary: I Hated It!
Review: I realize that I am in the minority here, but this book did not have what Earth Song had. When I read Earth Song, I could not wait to get my hands on the final novel of this trilogy. When I read it I was very disappointed. The hero, Roland, was horrible mean throughout the story to a point that became difficult for me to stomach. In a way, I could understand why he acted the way he did because he did believe, with just cause, that his wife, Daria, was pregnant with someone else's baby. However, when Daria suffered a miscarriage, he acted downright cruel. She suffered a miscarriage saving the life of one of his friends, and when she was recovering, Roland made it apparent that he was more concerned about the guilt his friend was feeling. In fact, he physically carried her into his friends room and told her that she was going to stop being so self-centered and assuage his friends guilt. After I read this, I could not give any credibility to the fact that he ended up professing his love to Daria, and I felt that she deserved better. I realize that I was reading a medeival romance, but that does not mean that it has to have a hero who can be so cruel and mean about one of the most tragic things that can happen to a woman. If anyone wants to read a truly good medeival romance, try Castles In the Air by Christina Dodd.

Summary: A page turner till the end!
Review: I thought this was one of Coulter's best works. The story between Roland and Daria causes the reader to laugh, cry, and fall in love with the two characters. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves stories from medieval England.

Summary: Catherine Coulter is the Best
Review: I would read anything this author writes, in fact I have most of her books, read the whole set that this book is part of!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: GOOD BUT?
Review: I've read all of the songs and hey, they were pretty good but do these men have to be so cruel. Ok I can handle a little bit of cruelty to keep the story intesting {because ain't nothing worse that a man with no back bone} and hey, I like it ruff sometimes. It just seem likes these men are extreme. So in Ms. Coulters case the men get the chance at playing hard to get, or at least that's how I view it. The women however realize they love their men early on and want to be with them. In some cases I don't see how, {FIRESONG} He was an abuser and an adulter. There is no way I could have fallin for him.
