Rating: Summary: Again! :-) Review: I read this book in a day and then two days later picked it up and read it again. It is really a great read, really brings you into the world of local news and talk shows. Ever wonder if Oprah and Sally Jesse like each other? Imagine if they were like this? Or if Deanna and Angela were real celebrities? Unlike many of Nora's other novels I was able to figure out "whodunit" rather early in the novel which was a great ago boost for me. I am usually unable to figure out whodunit until she actually reveals it and that is also a great feeling. The shock of "I had no idea" is always wonderful.

Rating: Summary: Offensive to Christians Review: I was so delighted to begin my first novel by Nora Roberts. thinking what a gifted writer she was turning out to be. I was looking forward to getting other novels she wrote when I completed "Private Scandals". I quickly became dismayed when, as most authors do today, she began using the Lord's name as a curse word. Over and over. Why do authors only choose to disrespect Christians, and no other group? Every few pages, she wrote, "Jesus!", "Christ!", "Jesus Christ". By the time I got to page 166, I had blotted out 19 blasphemies, and there are 405 pages. Page 166 also finally caused me to put it down when she wrote, "Jesus H. Christ!". It was the final blow; the last straw. You never read, "Buddha!", "Confucious!", or "Mohammed!", do you? Why, that would be offensive to readers!!! Christians should begin complaining about this rampant disrespect for our religion.
Rating: Summary: Another great one Review: In the tradition of all Nora Roberts stories, this was a dark clash of murder, mystery and romance. In the story of two leading daytime talkshow hosts who's bitter rivalry is bound to end in someone's destruction, Roberts is cunning, compasionate and exciting. Though the mystery of the book is fairly obvious, I think you'll enjoy it anyway. I know I did!
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Book!!!! I loved it!!!!! Review: Ms. Roberts books are wonderful. I loved the rivalry between Deanna and Angela. Another thing I loved about this read, was the fact that I couldn't figure who the killer was til the very end of the book. I just couldn't put the book down, and I just can't say enough about this one.
Rating: Summary: Pager turner for sure... Review: Of all the books Nora Roberts has written this one is by far my favorite. Deanna Reynolds is a reporter trying to make her way into her own talk show. Finn Riley is a reporter who travels the world to get the latest scoop. Deanna finds herself being stalked, with Finn by her side to help her through it they embark on a journey of murder and deceit. With all the twists and turns you find yourself anticipating how they will catch Deanna's stalker while discovering each other. They manage to do it with only a few bumps along the way. I would give this book 7 stars if I could.

Rating: Summary: A great read!!! Review: There was never a disappointing moment while reading this novel. Roberts delivered on all that the critics have praised her for: passion, suspense, and the realistic portrayal of the underground world of television. Deanna and Finn were such a believable pair - she, the perceived to be naive and unsuspecting star who was in danger, he, the charasmatic hero who would not only try to protect her from the hardknocks of the world, but educate her about it as well. However, the novel possessed one minor flaw. Of course, I will not give the perpetrator's identity away, but it became quite evident who was behind these crimes. In my opinion, Roberts did not do a very effective job in masking it. Overall, I loved it.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Ending! Review: This book is a very well written murder mystery mixed with romance that we love Nora Roberts for! Deanna Reynolds and Angela Perkins are basically in competition. Deanna was a news reporter who then turned to talk show host to replace Angela's spot after turning Angela's job offer down. Something Angela never forgets. You fall in love with Deanna and she manages to find love along the way herself. She does have somebody stalking her all the way through. The ending was great as I didn't know for a minute the "who done it " and was very surprised. This was a great book and truly Nora at her best!
