Summary: No Compromise Indeed!!!
Review: A very intresting book about finding love when you least expected it. This book is part of the Hidaway series, and anyone who has read books from this series will know that it is just as good as all the rest. The story is about a woman (Jolene) who does work for addicted and abused women. Jolene meets up with the very handsome Micheal Kirkland (Joshua from the book "Vows" son). The attraction to each other is like magic, but when Jolene finds herself in the midst of a scandle, can she depend on Micheal to help her through it, or will she find out, that attraction doesn't equal love.

Review: Another winner from Ms. Alers. I was on the edge of my seat for this one. It is not a comfortable read, dealing as it does with domestic violence in a very graphic way, but it is certainly one from the heart.

Review: As always Rochelle, you've done it again... Excellent reading, great to hear about the entire clan again. Extremely exciting, interesting and just out right GOOD... Micheal, Emily, Joshua, Sara, etc. have all grown up and they now have families of their own. I'm glad that Micheal found his mate, he is something like his father, at least he inherited his green eyes. Again, great book, and keep up the good work...

Summary: The Hideaway trilogy continues with a bang!
Review: Can Rochelle Alers get any better? NO COMPROMISE is the latest addition to the Hideaway series. This story evolves around Michael Kirkland and Jolene Walker. If you have read any of the past books you will know that Micheal is the son of Joshua And Vanessa Kirkland from the title VOWS. Let me tell you this story had me gripped to every page as the romance and the danger unfolded.
Michael meets Jolene at a party and from the moment she walks in the door he is drawn to her and she to him. Michael is on a six month leave from his position at the Pentagon and Jolene heads a program to assist and provide shelter for abused women, a job that she finds healing to her after the tragic death of her identical twin sister at the hands of an abusive husband.
In order to win Jolene's trust, Michael has to prove to Jolene that all men are not like her late sister's abusive husband, or her ex-husband who was jealous of Jolene's close bond with her twin sister and demanded that she make a choice between him and her family.( I don't have to tell how you the Cole's, Kirklands and Sterlings feel about family.) Michael lets her know that once he fell in love with her, her family automatic became his family and what he loves he protects! WHAT A MAN!
When Jolene's life is put in danger unknowingly by a client that has told her the details of her personal abuse since the age of twelve by a very high profile man with connections to the White House, Michael will stop at nothing to protect the woman that he loves.
You have got to get this book. Even though it is a part of the other books and old friends are revisited, it has more than enough strenghth to stand alone. Once you read it, if you are one of the few people that haven't read the previous ones you will want to go out and get every one. I can't wait to read the next one. Rochelle Alers has a fan for life.

Summary: Okay Read
Review: I am a huge fan of Mrs. Alers books. I waited a long time for Micheal Kirland's story which I was a little dissapointed. I thought the story was dragged out to long and they fell in love to quickly. It was to much over the top but toward the end I thought it picked up a lot. What's the deal with the heroine always tall and slim some of them sound anorexic. Although I didn't care for this book I will continue to read Mrs. Alers books and recommend them.

Review: I don't know how she does it. But, Rochelle manages to herself everytime. If you loved the stories between Vanessa and Joshua and then with Emily and Chris then you will definitely love this newest part in the Hideaway series. Everything in this book kept you on your toes. If you love a little suspense mixed in with your love story than you will absolutely love this story.

Review: I love all of Ms Alers books. No Compromise was an excellent kick-off to the Hideaway Sons and Brothers Trilogy. As with all the other Hideaway series books, this one was packed with intrigue and passion. Jolene was a social worker married to her job until sexy U.S. Army Captian Michael Kirkland showed her a life filled with love and passion. When danger threatens to destroy their new found love and happiness, Michael is willing to risk his life to protect the woman he loves. If you haven't read the Hideaway series yet, I encourage you to do so. Each book left me wanting more. I can hardly wait for Dr. Tyler Cole and Gabriel Cole's stories. Excellent job Ms. Alers. Keep 'em coming.

Review: I only got halfway through this book. I really couldn't get totally into it. What I read was okay.

Summary: Sizzling and steamy
Review: I read this sizzler in 7 hrs. a definite can't put down. Rochelle pulled out all the stops in this one. Michael, an Army Captain assigned to the Pentagon was a lifer but because of the Commanding General's advances on him he decided to take 6 mo. vacation to think about what he was going to do about his military career. During this 6mo. period he met his soul mate Jolene, executive director of the Sanctuary for abused women.
Their relationship bloosomed into something so powerful and strong that they couldn't fanthom not being together. This is a steamy romance from beginning to end. The steamy events that take place in Jamaica raises ones blood pressure. Some the steamy scenes even curls your toes when you read how Michael's love is so overwhelming when it comes to Jolene. He's her friend,her man and her lover.
This is a must read and I gurantee you that you won't be sorry.
