Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WAS GREAT Review: I don't see what some other reviewers said. This book was a fast read and very hot. The FBI agent was a different touch, and the kids were funny. I think having two sets of lovers in the book was a great touch. Add in Izzy......and what more could you want! I can't wait for the sister's story.
Rating: Summary: Not her best work. Missing a love connection Review: I love Christina Skye, but this book was not her best work. I didn't feel a connection between the two main characters and then all of a sudden they were in love. There were too many subplots that took the focus off Summer and Gabe which made it difficult for a reader to become invested in these two. She just needed to spend a little more time developing their relationship.

Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WAS GREAT Review: I love Christina Skye. I own every single book she has published and I have reread them countless times to much amusement and sighs. However, this one just doesn't do it for me. The story starts off rather interesting, the heroine catching the very sexy hero as he is in the shower and beautifully naked. Some heat is built between them and I got very excited about what was to come (no pun intended) between them in later chapters. But it was almost as if Ms Skye couldn't hold on to the heat that she had suddenly built in that one scene, because it is dropped immediately and the chemistry between them just isn't picked up again. It...isn't...picked...up...again. In fact, she moves on and builds up a pretty sexy relationship with two other people in the book who are supposed to be side characters but really take center stage throughout the entire novel. I'm a romance fan to the very core of my being, but I just wasn't feeling any sparks between the two I wanted to read about. They were the two that I picked the book up for, the two whose story I wanted to read, the two that the back of the book claimed that I would be reading a romance about. Not exactly true. There are only four books I've read in my long years as a romance fan, that I honestly didn't care once the sex scene came along. This one is number four. Sex scene came, I went "eh" and skimmed through it. I didn't even care how it ended. It bothered me so much that I couldn't get through this book, that I had a friend of mine (another avid Christina fan) read the book, and she couldn't get through it either. I will still read Christina's books passionately, but she has lost her edge on this one. What a disappointment!

Rating: Summary: Missed the excitement Review: I normally love Christina Skye's books, especially when they are about Navy SEALS. However, this book can be summed up in one word - boring! It's extremely repetitive, right down to constantly telling the reader what the two main characters do for a living. We're reading the book, good chance we know from the beginning! I honestly couldn't finish it. I was so disappointed. I felt as though the publisher gave Christina a deadline and she just threw something together. In all fairness, I couldn't write even a bit of what she did, so I shouldn't complain. Stick with her previous novels and hope that the book featuring Izzy, if ever there is one, is as delightful as her books before Code Name: Nanny.
Rating: Summary: Okay summer read Review: If you liked My Spy, Going Overboard, and Hot Pursuit, this story is for you. It was a very enjoyable read. Not quite as fast-paced as the others and a little predictable but...still a great read! You won't be disappointed.

Rating: Summary: LOVE THIS BOOK Review: Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I think it was the fastest I've ever read a book!
Rating: Summary: Fun start to a new series Review: Summer Mulcahey is an FBI agent, she was wounded and her partner killed on a stakeout, and she is currently persona non grata with her fellow agents in Philadelphia. She is assigned to guard the children of a San Francisco ADA engaged to be married to a senator slated to become the next president. Unbeknownst to her, the senator called in a favor, and a friend of the family, who just happens to be a SEAL is also watching the family. A career criminal is threatening the O'Connor family, and someone is trying to blackmail her with and old secret. Summer and Gabe Morgan are there to keep everyone safe at the expense of their own safety.
This is a fast moving book with alot of action and romance. There are two simultaneous plots involving Summer and Gabe and Cara O'Connor and Tate Winslow. The children's characters are very well developed and they are integral to the story. This book held my interest from beginning to end and I wasn't expecting much based on the promos.
