Rating: Summary: GREATTT!!! Review: I read almost everyday and I've found only a few great stories lately. But this book has such a touching story, it made me laugh and cry, couldn't put it down and had to read it in one sitting. No books could wrought such emotions from me in a while. The More I See You is a MUST read, and based on this book I went to buy other Kurland's books. I've yet to read them, but can't wait to see if they're as good as this one.
Rating: Summary: BEST TIME TRAVEL ROMANCE NOVEL IN THE WORLD!! Review: I read this book last month ago. I can't believe I didn't write a review about it yet. It was borrowed it in the library. I read it twice and it is beautiful. This is what I call love. Read it and you won't regret reading the story. I really want to buy this book again and read it again and again. It's sad because I can't forget the story even thought I try so hard not too! It's my first time to read Lynn Kurkland book and it was stunningly beautiful. The problem is, theres no more Lynn Kurkland books in the library. :( But I'm positive I'm buying her books once I see all of them. Lynn Kurkland is a great writer. This book is one of her best! :)
Rating: Summary: Fun, Fun , Fun Review: I read this in 2 days, it was fun and romantic. Richard and Jessica were worlds apart yet somehow they had such chemistry. I loved the idea, although not original it had some unique twists and great humor on Jessica part. Only complaint would be to have it slighty more erotic, oh well maybe the next one.
Rating: Summary: My first Kurland! I loved it! Review: I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed Kurland's writing style, her phasing and descriptions. They all helped me feel the story! I loved the hero and heroine and found I had trouble putting it down. 2 nights up 'til the wee hours! I haven't done that in a while! I have found a new favored author. I am now on a hunt for her other books! Thanks Ms. Kurland.
Rating: Summary: Fun, light fantasy Review: I really enjoyed this book. OK, so I am still not clear about how Kurland's time travel theory works -- I guess I like to see something more substantial than just wishing. I loved Richard myself. This book is sensual without being smutty -- sex is not described in graphic detail. I would feel comfortable recommending this book to my high school students. The medieval details were authentic and accurate. This book rates above most romance novels I have read.
Rating: Summary: Great Story Review: I was again charmed by Ms. Kurland's book. Unlike some of the other reviewers I find romance far more poignant and humanizing when we can see the emotions of the characters rather than endless pages of idioticly stupid sex scenes. I am not like a lot of romance readers who somehow believe these books portray real life--but to take that argument; I would say that the emotional struggles are far more real than two people falling into bed and somehow saw stars and gee, golly--it must be love. That is so unrealistic! Ms. Kurland, keep up this kind of writing. It's charming, and sweet and I LOVE IT! If one wants a lot of heavy sex scenes, there are plenty of romance writers out there that center their stories ONLY about sex. I am more interested in a plot--not heavy breathing.
Rating: Summary: Brilliant Review: I was so pleased that some of the characters from her other books were included in this story. I loved reading about Kendrick before his story in Stardust of Yesterday. You will love Richard and Jessica. Jessica wishes upon a star for a man who would love her as much as he loves himself. She finds herself transported through time to 1260 where she meets Richard. She stayes at Richard's unfinished castle, marries him when she is wounded and then leaves him when she discovers he is to marry the King's god niece. She manages to get back to her own time. Richard is desolate when he finds Jessica gone. He goes back home wishing her back on a star just as she told him it was the way she got there in the first place. Then suddenly a mist appears out of nowhere. This is a beautiful love story that will make you laugh and cry. Buy it, you won't be disapointed. Well done again Lynn.
Rating: Summary: Very Well Written Time Travel Romance Review: I wasn't going to leave a review since there were so many already, but I just had to say how much I loved this book. It was one of those books that you can't put down and never want to end! This is my first Lynn Kurland book and definately not my last.
Rating: Summary: History, Romance and Time Travel...The best combination! Review: I wrote my first review on Kurland on the book "A Dance Through Time". I feel that I made my point in that review perfectly clear. As before, her books are mesmerizing and I can't seem to get anything done once I start one. I sit reading for hours on end, smiling, laughing out loud, crying and wishing that love and romance were the way she makes it sound in her books. This book is no different. Kudos Ms. Kurland!
Rating: Summary: Better than I expected! Review: I'm not usually in to time travel books but thought this one was great. I couldn't wait to finish it to see what the ending would be. I plan on looking for more books by Kurland and buy it as a gift for friends that have similar taste.
