Summary: One of her best books.
Review: I absolutely loved this book. The characters were well developed and the storyline was great. I loved how the author addressed the physical and emotional abuse Richard went through as a child and how Jessica had to heal his soul before they could truely be happy. Because I read so often it is very rare for me to feel emotion for the characters but this book did it to me. Buy the book and become part of the story. It is definately a keeper. Also read "Stardust of Yesterday." That book had me laughing out loud and the part where Kendrick gives his love a ring made me cry (my husband now thinks I'm a loon). Happy reading.

Summary: An Amazing Medieval Romance
Review: I agree this is definately one of Ms. Kurland's best books and was quite well written. The storyline was exciting and moved along very smoothly with characters that were well developed and intelligent. Richard is the perfect medieval hero that every woman dreams about. Very rarely can a romance novel be both a great story and a great romance.

Review: I could't read this book fast enough. A lot of time travel books loose their steam, but not this one. It has humor, romance and is just an all around great fun read. Even if you are not a avid romance reader,( I'm not) give this one a try.

Summary: lighthearted- 100% flimsy on the time travel aspect
Review: I felt this author cashed in on the popularity of Diana Gabaldon's exceptional Scottish Time Travel romance series. The time travel piece was ridiculous. Wish Upon A Star... and poof you're in 1260 Scotland. Give me a break. It was a very lightweight insubstantial novel. Nowhere near the depth of plot or character development of Gabaldon.
Nice tale, cute love story, rather unlikeable hero.
I enjoyed the book, but it does not stand up to the Gabaldon series if that is what you were hoping for.

Review: I have never read one of her books. I liked the cover. I brought the book. I found myself crying and being happy for a book. I usually don't get too much into books. Now, I am going to read on of her other books. I hope her other books are as good as this one.

Summary: I really enjoyed reading this book
Review: I have read most of the books in this series and have found that Ms. Kurland has either hit or missed with no real in-betweens. I've felt the last few books have missed, and actually wondered if she wrote them, because they seemed so different than her first books. Richard and Jessica's story was well written, with strong characters, and an interesting relationship that continues to grow throughout the book. I feel that this book is mostly about Richard, his "issues" and how he deals with them. Although Jessica is our time traveler, and she is an integral key in opening Richard up, this is not her story.It helps that there are other time travelers in the plot, but as with most time travel books, I found that our non-traveler believes our traveler too easily. Richard has his doubts, but they are rather quickly abated. Jessica does not behave like a Medieval woman, and is very knowledgeable, but that in itself should not be enough motivation to believe. All in all, I might have liked a little more detail on lifestyles in 13th century England, but there is enough to make the story interesting. Jessica brings her modern language as well as her modern thoughts, and this makes for some amusing anecdotes. Enjoy this as a solid, fun book.

Review: I loved this one! It was my first and favorite out of all her books. I kept laughing out loud at the wise cracking that flew in the pages, and smile at my boyfriend tenderly at the all the romantic twists. The is a def. must read...just buy it all ready!
