Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A GENTLE ROMANCE
Review: This is a good romance with nicely developed characters which are easy to care for. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I like my romances a little hotter. I would not be the least bit embarrassed to recommend this book to my mother. In fact, I'm sending her my copy today. As to whether I will read any more of Ms. Heath's books. . .maybe.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is a MUST READ if there ever was one!
Review: This is the first book by Ms. Heath that I have read. I bought all three books in the trilogy because of the reviews it received. I was a little skeptical at first that a book could receive a rating of "5 stars" from everyone who read it. I would give it a perfect 10 if I could.

The mixture of Amelia's pure nature and the lonely ruggedness of Houston make a perfect match. She's a mail-order-bride innocent of what is to become of her. And he is a wounded man inside and out sent to escort her back to his brothers ranch for his brother to wed. And with a long wagon ride they are bound to fall in love, but what becomes of that love.

I read this book in less then 2 days, because I couldn't put it down. This is the kind of book that gives you that satisfied glow at the end. I can't wait till I get them all read. I have already started on the second one. Do yourself a favor and read this(these) books.

I look forward to reading more books by this great author.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful
Review: This is the first book in a series of 3. I have read all of them and thoroughly enjoyed them. Lorraine Heath makes you fall in love with her characters. She does not create a typical hero. In Texas Destiny you can not help falling in love with Houston and Dallas. This book gives the foundation to the next two books. You can not help wanting to know what happens to everyone. I felt so good reading this. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you purchase this book.

The characters are wonderfully alive and soooooo touching.

READ IT

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolute Perfection!
Review: Whoever said that heroes in romantic novels have to be gorgeous hunks to pull at reader's heartstrings? I absolutely adore Houston! He's perfect, with all his insecurities and secret fears. Amelia is also adorable. She more than once brought a smile to me as I watched her slowly falling for this tortured and lovely stranger. Having read one of the other novels of Ms. Heath, I positively ran to get this one once it hit the store, and finished this book within one sitting. As I closed the book with a heartfelt sigh, I found my eyes glistening with tears, (though not for the first time with this book) due to the beautiful ending.
