Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: original idea Review: Book is very good. The only problem I have with Kay Hoopers books. She needs to not use the work GD in them. I find that very offensive. She is a very enjoyable writer.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Good But Didn't Like It As Much As Other Reviewers.... Review: Don't get me wrong, I liked this book. The farther I got into it the better I liked it, in fact. But at first I found Cassie a bit cold and hard to get to know. Hard to care about a heroine you don't really like. But I stuck with it and finally got into the interesting mystery. The book moved along at a fast pace and the other characters were likeable and interesting. I DID guess who did it about 3/4 of the way thru, but found the "twist" at the end a bit contrived. Good but not the greatest romantic suspense novel I've ever read. But I do seem to be in the minority here....
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: fascinating Review: This book keeps you wanting to read more and more of it. From the beginning Kay Hooper keeps you wanting to know more about Cassie and her abilities. Makes for fabulous reading from beginning to end--and what a surprise ending!!!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Original Believable Concepts Review: I found "Stealing Shadows" to be an interesting and enjoyable read. The concepts were original and believeable, as Ms. Hooper did a great job of describing her concepts of phychic abilities and wound them into an exciting story. While I had put together most of the answers, the ending had an interesting unanticipated twist that makes the book stand out from the ordinary. My only criticism of the book is that there were slow parts, especially in the development of the relationship between Ben and Cassie. I felt that the dialog between them was redundant, slowing down the book unnecessarilty. Other than that, I look forward to her next books.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A SMASHING SMOLTERING THRILLER! Review: The was my second Kay Hooper novel and it was one of my favorite novels that I have ever read. I found it incredibly interesting that the whole book revolved around the "psychic" way of solving crimes. That was so cool! Not many authors have their protaganists, such as Cassie Neill, someone who can predict murders before they even happen. My eyes were transfixed to the pages the whole time. I can not wait until HIDING IN THE SHADOWS comes out on October 3 and for OUT OF THE SHADOWS coming out on October 31. Both of these novels include FBI Agent Noah Bishop from Stealing Shadows. Kay Hooper has definitely made it to my favorite author list!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: White-Knuckle Suspense Review: In "Stealing Shadows," the romance between Cassie Neill and Ben Ryan is so intricately woven into the plot, the reader hardly notices this is a romantic suspense novel. Cassie is a psychic who sometimes can help police identify and capture killers, but this case, in a small town in North Carolina, is a frustrating challenge for her paranormal abilities. Kay Hooper is a wordsmith capable of white-knuckle suspense from page 1 to the surprising climax.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Stealing Shadows Review: This is the first of Kay Hooper's books I have read. It's been great!! Was interesting from page 1 - didn't want to put the book down until I finished it. I can hardly wait for her next one in the series.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Stealing Shadows Review: Took me less than two days to finsih this book. The first Chapter grabs you and from then on you can't put the book down. Looking forward to the next two books coming out in October.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WoW! Review: I thought after reading After Caroline and Haunting Rachael that she would never be able to top those books. She did! Kay Hooper keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. I read the book in one day. I couldn't put it down. With so many new authors on the scene now, and so many storylines begging changed but duplicated, it's nice to see an original.
