Rating: Summary: Fantastic read, but similar plots in "only" series... Review: A great read for newcomers, but I have realized that the plots in the rest of the "Only" series, though greatly touching and nice to read, were slightly similar. Recommanded, just beware if you hate reading almost similar plots! :)
Rating: Summary: Ultra-Sensual Review: Elizabeth Lowell is a master with words. Her love scenes are the hottest out there. Her historical aspect isn't too bad, either. Only You is the second Elizabeth Lowell book I've read. Her talent is thrilling. She has a way with words that will make you cry and laugh to yourself as you feel every bit of the characters pains and joys. The setting of the Old West is not my favorite. (Let's admit it, it isn't anyone's favorite.) Lowell's appeal only falters with her long geological/topological descriptions of the washed out gulleys, mesas, cliffs, and cave systems the characters struggle across. Despite her verbosity on where they where, I never got a half-decent mental image of it, so she lost me and I ended up skimming those long pages of scenary. The characters were all vivid, and the supporting cast included many of the other "Only" series inhabitants. This book zinged with sexual tension while tumbling headlong into Old West adventure--gold-minging, gun-slinging, horse-back riding. Even if the Western genre leaves you cold, this book has enough powerful redeeming factors to leave that prejudice behind for a time.

Rating: Summary: I have become a Lowell fan! Review: I began with the first book in the series, only his and then had to get the other three books from the library. I was confused as to the order of the books because it said nothing about which book came first, second, third and forth. This is the third in the series and I finished all three of the last books in four days! The characters are wonderful and I get so caught up in the story that I loose track of the day. Many times I felt like thumping Reno in the head. Eve was wonderful because she was so strong in such a hard time for her. I love the way the characters were reunited in each one of the books. I felt like part of the family coming home to them all.
Rating: Summary: MADE ME WANT TO THROW UP!!! Review: I do not remember the last time i read a book in which the characters were sooo one dimensional, the plot was so BORING, the heroine was so UNBELIEVABLY weak, the hero was such a JERK ! he pretty much tried to rape her a couple of times and she supposedly enjoyed it???? come on now!! I'm SOOO disappointed i bought this book i skipped parts of the book (which i rarely do) and only finished it because i was hoping the book would pick up at some point. I hate being so negative but i really can't think of one positive aspect of this story. I would give it 0 stars if i could. Buy (or read) this book only if u want to be bored and disgusted to tears by a twisted plot (where rape = love), a couple that you do not care about and want to waste your $ and time. I can't believe i just threw away 4 hours of my life to that book - it took so long because there were times i just threw the book away in disgust!!
Rating: Summary: Only You Review: I have liked all of Lowell's reads but this was too bland for me. There is a plot but it is weak. It doesn't have the sizzling sexuality of her other books. I will not re-read.

Rating: Summary: The Only Series is Great! This one will not disappoint. Review: I just reread this book yesterday. It was good even the 2nd time around. Reno is a hunk, and is so contrite in the end, you just can't help but fall for him. Eve is a good match for him and their love scenes burn up the pages. Lowell is superb in the Only Series and she writes so picturesquely that you feel you're right out west with the characters. Pick this one up; you'll enjoy it!
Rating: Summary: Great Read Review: I loved all of the "Only" series. They are by far her best books.
Rating: Summary: Truly Awful Review: I may not be a fan of "Western Historicals", but this book is truly ridiculous. How many times can one use "extasy" in one sentence? Or wax poetic about a relationship that is based on insults and degradation (and not in a good way). I read books with similar basis this one is way down there.
