Summary: Another great book by Nora
Review: This book was well-written and had great strong characters to keep the reader interested. This book is about three very different sisters who have never met each other before, who must live together for a year on their father's ranch in order to each receive their inheritance. This story could easily have become typical, boring and hokey, but Nora keeps the reader on their toes and makes the characters seem very realistic. The reason I'm not giving this book 5 stars is that there are some rather graphic and disturbing scenes that I could have done without. I also would have preferred it if the story had concentrated on all three sisters equally - Willa gets most of the book to herself and I personally wanted to see more of Lily and Tess. None-the-less this book is a worth-while and very satisfying read.

Summary: Wonderful- I love Nora Roberts
Review: Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. I picked this book up mainly because I love her works. However, this book grabbed my attention and kept it riveted. I had a hard time putting this book down. As expected the three daughters bond together. However, this book is much more than a book on sisters and families. This book is a mystery with some romance weaved in. I enjoyed this book and have read it several times since the first time I picked it up.

Summary: My favorite Roberts suspense novel
Review: I've read many of Roberts suspense/romance books, and this one of my favorites. It tracks 3 women who have to share an inheritance while grudgingly getting to know eachother. Meanwhile, there's a serial killer on the loose. The scenes with the killer were gripping, as were the romances each woman experienced. This is one of my favorite Roberts books because I honestly didn't know the identity of the killer, yet when I found out, it didn't seem as ridiculous as the killer sometimes are. Also, the passages which takes you into the killer's head actually did kinda scare me. Whether you like romance books or not, this is a good read.

Review: this book is fantastic! the men on the ranch are guys you wish to meet, and the girls are just like other girls. Willa is the coolest! she's not a girly-girl by any means and doesnt take ... from anyone.Lily is sweet, shy and vulnerable. you cant just help, but love her. Tess is also like Willa, yet more of girly- girl. she just has an attitude of a snobby, rich girl. its hard to believe that they are sisters.

Summary: "New" Nora fan
Review: I used to work in a bookstore, where Nora Roberts was a big joke. We all use to kid around that someone who wrote so many books had to be following a format and couldn't be any good. But this book changed my opinion and has hooked me on her books. A friend had a copy on a long flight and with lack of nothing better to do, I picked it up. The story of the three Mercy sisters mixed with a murderer was unlike any author I had ever read. And I was hooked. There was no putting this book (or her others) down after that. So, for all you skeptics or just someone looking for a great read-I highly recommend this.

Review: This is the best romance book, I have read..I would liked to have read more about Lily and Adam...I thought Ben and Willa were a great pair. You will not be disappointed with this book it has everything!!

Review: As I always do, I enjoyed this Roberts book. The romance and suspense in her novels always keeps me up well past midnight. However, this novel was somewhat different than the previous one's that I've read. Perhaps it was the amount of gory murder, as another review said. I really enjoyed the fact that Roberts could combine three stories into one book. Its like a trilogy wrapped into one novel. I would definantly recommend this to anyone who loves to curl up with an entertaining book.

Summary: Give Willa a Break
Review: Okay first off, Willa wasn't a bad character. She was a tough woman, but so are many other of Nora's heroines. If you want some silly little sensitive twit running the show then go watch a movie. This book was great. It had a very good plot laced with a huge mystery. The main character was Willa, and the story also goes into the details of her sisters. And those of you who sAY that Nora only gave Tess a little bit of focus in the book, um did you forget that she was the only character that got her journal entries put in the novel? Willa and Ben are a good match and so was everyone else. One of the elements of Nora's books is the chemistry and how two elements combine to form the perfect combination. This book was wonderful, the heroine witty,brave, and strong, and the plot dazziling.
