Rating: Summary: Riveting Closure to the Velvet Series Review: I read all Velvet series... my favorite of all is the first book, Velvet Promise. However, this book, Velvet Angel, also captured my heart. I was always intrigue by this "Miles" character ever since I read the Velvet Promise. He was described as a handsome, silent, mysterious and have the ability to seduce woman kindda guy. He was also supposedly loved by all woman. So, it was excitingly interesting for me to read his ways of seducing Elizabeth. Especially, when she was being stubbornly difficult. I like the way Miles finally used his first born son to capture Elizabeth's heart. It worked too! ..until he got busted! I have many favorite parts of this book but the ending was memorably funny. The Montgomery brothers and their wives all together, helping each other was heart warming. That is what family is all about! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. In the beginning it contains fear, hate, revenge, distrust and sadness but in the end it is full of love, trust, understanding & forgivness - A riveting end to the Velvet series.

Rating: Summary: Great ending to the Velvet series! Review: I really enjoyed the ending to the Velvet series. We got to read Miles' story and got to know him. He was kinda aloof in the previous 3 books and it was nice to find out he is just as sexy and interesting as his brothers! The added mystery and chivalry that Miles possesed made him a very likable character to me. Miles' story is a little different than the others, he has to try and settle the bloody fued between his family the Montgomerys and the enemy, the Chatworths. How you might ask? He finds himself hopelessly attracted to the Chatworth sister, Elizabeth...She was delivered to him rolled in a carpet, naked and looking like an angel sent from Heaven. Miles is confused on who she is as she stares at him with her deep emerald eyes and long honey blonde hair, maybe she IS an angel...until she comes at him with an axe of course... Elizabeth is being used as a pawn in a deadly game between waring families and enemies. She vows to not surrender herself or her pride. She finds herself a captive of the most notorious of the Montgomery brothers, Miles. He is reputed to use women mercilessly and throw them aside. Getting them pregnant with his children for fun. She hated the Montgomery's...she despised them! They were the cause of her family's problems! They caused her poor sister-in-law to go mad! She was a Chatworth! The fierce hatred between these two waring familes has caused the king to become angry! In a haze of murder, rape and betrayal, Miles and Elizabeth find themselves caught in the middle as their own hearts are torn. She wants him, yet she fears him and hates what he is...but can she tell her heart the same? Is her own family the cause of the problems? Can she learn to love a Montgomery? Can Miles learn not to hate? Can past brutalities fade enough to let love in? Can these two lost hearts end a raging fued that has lasted far too long before the king banishes them all? A nonstop action/adventure/romance! A wonderful ending to the series! We get to meet up with past characters from the previous books, Judith & Gavin, Stephen & Bronwyn, Raine & Alyx and the many secondary characters that I have grown to love. There are MANY surprises in this last installent that cannot be missed and all the loose ends are finally tied up neatly. A sure keeper! 1. VELVET PROMISE- Gavin & Judith's story 2. Highland Velvet- Stephen & Bronwyn's story (my favorite!) 3. Velvet Song- Raine & Alyx's story 4. Velvet Angel- Miles & Elizabeth's story Tracy Talley~@
Rating: Summary: I recommend this book to anyone!!! Review: I recommend this book along with the other books in the velvet series. These were the best 4 books i ever read. This last one is my favorite because miles is my favorite. I have read all of them over and over again. I have yet to find a book that has been better.
Rating: Summary: The fourth in her velvet series: a dull, predictable read. Review: I think Ms. Deveraux could have done way better than this. I knew what was going to happen before I finished reading the last ten chapters. Elizabeth gave in to easily to Miles's charms. She was a strong intelligent character, her motto should have been," fight to the death." and if she was really smart she would have made use of that ax when she had the chance( not doing brutal harm mind you). Sometimes Miles deserved it.:)

Rating: Summary: It was alright Review: It's a good book but you loose interest in the story when Elizabeth and Miles are seperated, the events just get more boring by the minute..
Rating: Summary: Miles Review: It's hard to believe that Jude Deveraux could create such a pointless tale. Miles had 3 illegitimate children from 3 different women! Almost legendary for his ablility to seduce women. He loves all of womankind. What makes Elizabeth believe at first that she would be more than his little casual romp in the bed?
Rating: Summary: looking for a good laugh ? Review: Jude saved the best for last. I loved the whole series, but this was my favorite. I hate to see the series end. I found myself wishing that there were a couple of more brothers to marry off. I also love how strong and intelligent the women are.
