Summary: Matt
Review: A good book. It is a lot like the other books she writes. It starts out with Matt being a selfish, insensitive and rude man but by the end of the book you love him. I enjoyed it.

Review: Almost did not buy the book! Boy, was I lucky! This book kept me up all night. Ms. Palmer is back with her poignant yet sometimes funny views of life. Leslie's life was tragic to say the least, however, she still viewed life half-full. This is not a characterization of a spineless and weak being but a brave and courageous person. Matt, on the other hand, is a hero. Not all men can be truly remorseful when found in the wrong. The depiction of his character is one who is brave enough to face his faults and ready to make amends. I recommend reading this book.

Review: As an avid reader of the Long Tall Texan series Matt's story is one of the best. I enjoyed this one so much because, Ms. Palmer brings back the same passion here as she did in her early Texan books.

Review: Back cover reads:
A LONG, TALL TEXAN FINALLY MEETS HIS MATCH...?
He was rich, powerful and every woman's fantasy. Although many had tried to lasso Jacobsville's sought-after bachelor, none had managed to catch Matt Caldwell's eye. However, mysterious Leslie Murry was about to change all that. For the cynical Texas tycoon's spirited new employee roused his temper like no one ever had before. And despite his fierce denials, her soft vulnerability also brought out his every protective instinct. After sampling her soul-searching kisses, Matt was sorely tempted to possess the enticing innocent who clearly ached for a man's tender touch. Still, this Long, Tall Texan wasn't about to let down his guard until he sweet-talked Leslie into surrendering her heart!

Summary: same ol'
Review: Even though the majority of Ms. Palmers books carry the same story line each book holds its' own spark. Matt may be insinsitive but you have to love him. He truly cares for Leslie. And Leslie also has her doubts about this relationship. But in the end they conquer all that is standing in their way. And who could say if Ms. Palmer didn't give us the virgin heroine then who would. I really enjoy reading all her story lines and I hope you will to.

Summary: Almost Back Ms. Palmer
Review: I had given Diana Palmer's last book, Paper Rose, one star because I felt it was the same old story line again, nothing new or fresh. This book is pretty much the same as the others, older man with issues, a younger woman with issues and they don't get along. But, I feel this book shows glimpes of the old Diana Palmer where the books made you feel something and might have choked you up. She didn't turn Matt Caldwell into a heartless or mean person or Leslie into a spineless wimp. Matt actually had a heart and Leslie some spirit. I am beginning to see the Diana Palmer whose books I couldn't put down.

Summary: Amazing
Review: I love Diana Palmer. I also love the type of story line she does. Whenever I read a book written by her I laugh, cry and hurt along with the characters. This book was just as good as all the other Diana Palmer books out there. When I hear of another one of her books is coming out or one that is out already, I rush to the stores to get. I love the feeling that I get whenever I lose myself in one of her books. Her story lines may be similar, but that is what I love about her. You know the feeling you get when you are reading a book that you think is absolutely wonderful, and you do not want it to end. That is how I feel about her books and Matt Caldwell was no exception. Enjoy
