Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Read Review: I read this book some years ago and the fact that I can still remember the story line speaks to its memorability (if there's such a word). A nicely flowing story line fraught with sensual tension and the sizzling love scenes we expect from Sandra Brown. Not gripping, but an easy, relaxing novel.
Rating: Summary: A sweet one night read Review: It's true- there are 2 Sandra Brown's, there are the SB books that are full of suspense and relationships and then there are those SB books that have some story with them focusing on love relationships. She does a good job with both types. This book is a good "day" read for those that don't have the time to get real involved. Erin, adopted, discovers who her brother is and flies to CA to introduce herself to him only to discover that he is involved in a bank theft and is not to be found anywhere. She literally walks into a sticky situation of undercover men scoping out the house and phone waiting to track him down. Lance, the fed cop that is over this case, takes Erin in thinking at first that she might be involved in the theft, giving her a difficult time. As he spends time with her his hard heart weakens while she discovers that she is missing something in her life as well. A sweet love story.
Rating: Summary: Are there two "Sandra Browns" ? Review: The first novel I read from this writer was "exclusive" , which I loved, so I told myself who's this and where has it been 'till now! But when I started buying several titles from the same author I realized they were not as nearly as good as "Exclusive" or even "Fat Tuesday". This novel; "A treasure worth seeking", is so predictable and boring that is not good even for a beach read. And people talk about "sexual tension"? there is none if you know what's going to happen and there's no other paralel story! Give me a break, Sandra Brown.
