Summary: Great fun!
Review: I dare say I enjoyed this book even more than its predecessor, SCANDALOUS AGAIN. And that's saying something, as I LOVED that book. Eleanor and Remington play off of each other beautifully, and boy, do they make the sparks fly! As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with a book by Christina Dodd, and this one ranks right up there with her best.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Much better than its predecessor
Review: I had to rate this book higher than Scandalous Again because it is most definitely better. Although it probably deserves just under 4 stars, I pushed the rating up to account for the signficantly better aspects of this sequel.

Remington -- you don't know whether to like him or not at first, but he definitely grows on you -- just as Eleanor grows on him and he can't help falling in love with her. It's lovely to watch Eleanor blossom under his care; even though he is sometimes harsh and angry, there's honor and kindness beneath it. Eleanor's goodness and quiet strength get under his defenses. And they have some scenes that most definitely sizzle, too.

While the murder mysery was not heart-stopping or pulse-pounding, it moved along at a good clip, made sense as a plot, and ended perfectly. A really enjoyable, light read.

Summary: Could have been better.......
Review: I haven't read many Christina Dodd books, but I thought she was a better author than this. First of all, I really dislike overbearing heros, constantly telling the woman what to do. Second, another reviewer was right, the vengence plot is so overdone. Finally, some of the language is very obscene. I'm only 25 years old and I was disturbed by the nasty talk. My main objection with this book is the hero. He wasn't likable at all!

Summary: Just Okay
Review: I just finished reading "One Kiss From You" and I feel that it was just lukewarm. I was really eager to get my hands on the sequel to "Scandalous Again" because it was fantastic. However, this book has very little plot to it, it is the same old story about revenge and though some of chapters were interesting, I felt like I had to force myself to keep going, in case something really good would come up. Usually Christina Dodd's books are able to incite great sympathy or heartbreak for the characters, but not for this book. I've also noticed that she's rolled out several books in a short period of time. Perhaps she needs a break to refresh her originality.

Summary: One of Christina Dodd's Best
Review: I loved this book. The heroine was immensely likable and the hero was HOT. It was a fun read.

Summary: You'll love it!!!!!
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me laugh out loud many times. To see Eleanor blossom into such a strong and sensuous women was enjoyable. But to see how she beats Remington at his own game, was the best part. He never had a chance!! The supporting characters were pretty funny also. Buy it now!! You won't be able to put it down.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: SEXY & TOTALLY GREAT - I READ ALL NIGHT!
Review: I thought this was one of Christine Dodd's best books -- I just loved it. I think she is one of my favorite authors now -- it just seems like every book is better than the last one! This is -- look out! -- HOT HOT HOT!!

Summary: delightful amusing Regency tale of vengeance going awry
Review: In 1806 reticent Eleanor de Lacy impersonates her more outgoing cousin the Duchess of Magnus out of love for her relative, but wonders the price once she meets the target of this masquerade. Eleanor was to buy time for Madeline to straighten out this mess caused by her father agreeing to an engagement with a wealthy barbaric colonial.

Eleanor and the duchess' fiancé Remington Knight are both shocked by the attraction to one another and more so by how different their image is from the reality. As the Duchess works to free herself from this unwanted engagement, Eleanor and Remington becomes better acquainted until they fall in love. However, she is masquerading as her cousin while he has a hidden agenda of revenge that when either surfaces will destroy the key trust element of their budding relationship.

Regency romance readers will take great pleasure with Christina Dodd's latest trading places tale. The story line is fast-paced and action-packed, but the key is the extended cast that makes the "family feud" seem genuine and even more important fresh as the sub-genre has had enough feuds to eradicate the Ton. The loving couples provide the right romantic spin especially when Eleanor and Remington exchange words and he "faints" out of love for her. Ms. Dodd is at her best with this delightful amusing tale of vengeance going awry.

Summary: A great follow-up to SCANDALOUS AGAIN!
Review: In SCANDALOUS AGAIN, the duchess and her companion switch places, and the duchess finds romance. In ONE KISS FROM YOU, we read her companion's story. Eleanor is "born timid", she's afraid of scenes and is easy to bully. So when she goes to London to meet the duchess's fiance, Remington Knight, and she pretends to be the duchess, she knows she's out of her league. But she falls in love with the dark, driven Remington, not realizing he's out for revenge on the duchess and her family. Eleanor grows into a strong character who seizes what she wants and vanquishes the bad guys. Great book! Buy it now!

Summary: Delightful Read!
Review: ONE KISS FROM YOU has made me totally intrigued and eager to read more of Christina Dodd's books.

The first few chapters of this book did not hook me, which proves one should always be patient when reading because they just might miss a delightful treat if they put the book down too soon.

This is the 2nd in a series by Ms. Dodd, and I have not read the first book. Eleanor de her cousin, Madeline, has sent Lacy to take her place in a betrothal to Remington Knight. Knight, an American, who has won Madeline from her father in a card game has a sinister plan of revenge against the de Lacy family. When Eleanor arrives Remington is drawn to her and is passionately attracted to her. The feeling is mutual and Eleanor, at first timid and meek, finds herself empowered in her new role as a Duchess and the subject of Remington's intense fascination. As their wedding arrives, Remington finds he has been duped and their relationship changes from one of need and revenge to one of love and necessity.

I found this story very sexy, fun, and fast moving after I passed the first several Chapters. Both characters were not what I initially expected, in particular Eleanor, and she proved to have some surprises up her sleeve.

I'm eagerly anticipating reading the 1st in this series now, Scandalous Again. ONE KISS FROM YOU is a delight and I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy. This would be a great holiday read during a leisure day by the fire.
