Rating: Summary: Wild doesn't deliver..... Review: I had such hopes for this book since it was a full length tale about the last of the Winston brothers. It starts off well enough but the story goes flat in the first chapter and never recovers. The characters are not the least believable. The language seems stilted and the story line stumbles and fumbles along. The only bright spot was the introduction of a Winston cousin who may end up with his own story. If you are a fan of the author you will buy the book anyway, but buy used if you can and pass it along.
Rating: Summary: Wild about Zane Winston Review: I have been waiting for Zane Winston's story since the last Winston brother story was out two years ago. I was thrilled to find out that he was going to get a full-length story. I was not disappointed as I enjoyed the story and Zane definitely deserved the longer book, as he is too sexy to contain in a short story. (Note: pick up THE WINSTON BROTHERS if you have not read about the other brothers. Very good stories.) Zane Winston was always the Winston heartthrob and he had no interest in falling to the "Winston Curse" like his brothers. But that was before he got his heart (and body) zapped by one exotic Gypsy. Tamara Tremayne is part of a Gypsy family, but is different from them. She feels beholden to her uncle and aunts, as they raised her. She has known Zane from the family bar and his business, and has felt attracted to him. She wants him to do something for her, so one day she enters his business and utters the three words that change their lives: I want you! Zane has been attracted to her in the past, but the erotic way she says those words turn him on and he cannot resist her offer. But first, he wants to get to know her and discover what she is really like. They share some hot and steamy scenes...scenes that Lori Foster has written well. I had to fan myself a few times. Zane finds out that someone is trying to run Tamara out of her business and home. Being a Winston (and a typical Lori Foster hero) he wants to help her and protect her. He enlists the aid of his renegade cousin Joe Winston. (Joe will definitely get your attention. He is fun and hot) There is not a lot of suspense in who the bad guy was, as I figured it out pretty early on, but this is a Romance book. I prefer the book to be heavy on the romance side, and Lori Foster has delivered very well. I fell for Zane and wished I had a guy like that not only to protect me, but also to cuddle up to. If you like your romance steamy and hot, with a hero who is protective and to die for, then you need to read WILD. I am already hoping that Lori Foster gets the chance to write about more Winston's, including Joe's story.
Rating: Summary: HOT, STEAMY AND BELIEVABLE Review: I have only recently started reading Lori Foster's books, as I am not a big fan of contemporary romance. She writes believable romances. Zane is a man that most women would sell their souls to have in bed and their lives. He is caring and loving if he doesn't want to admit it. He also is not as in control as he thinks he is. I definitely recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Three stars...but only because... Review: I liked the first one better.
Okay...its like this...
Zane...the youngest and most sexually notorious of the brothers has this gypsy hit on him...but she's not really a gypsy (okay she is but she doesn't look like one) she's only wearing a costume.
He falls in love...someone tries to kill her...she finds him kissing another girl...thats about it.
All in all... if you've read her preceding three part novel...I think you'd agree with me...Chase, the scandalishly kinky one, should have had his own book.
Wild could have been shorter and there were no outstanding reasons that Zane should have been singled out.
This really reminds me of Julie Garwood's 'Rose' series and how the one brother seemed so hot and funny and cute in the other stories, but when he got his own book...he kinda fell flat. Sorry, I love ya Julie...but Ms. Foster should have learned from your mistake.
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: I LOVED this book. I loved it so much that I had to reread it as soon as I finished it the first time. I'm especially gratified to see a heroine who knows what she wants and goes after it instead of waiting for things to work themselves out. Go Tamara! The love scenes are steamy and the general chemistry between Zane and Tamara is wonderful. I find that I either hate books by Lori Foster (ie. 'Casey'-- what a huge disappointment) or love them and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed 'Wild' and recommend it highly.
Rating: Summary: Catches Fire Review: I read "The Winston Brothers" right before I read this one! I thought THAT book was hot but this one catches fire! Zane "the lady killer" is so sexy! It's fun to see him struggle to get off the line when he is hooked! And Tamara is great with her two sides and her hysterical family! I also loved the way you got to catch up on the rest of the brothers lives! I'm hoping Lori will follow up with a book on cousin Joe!
Rating: Summary: Favorite "Foster" by far! Review: I really enjoyed this addition to the Winston Family saga. The three prior short stories about the other brother's were very fun reads. I love romantic suspense, which at times can be very enveloping. So, for a nice light read, the short stories were perfect. But "Wild" took me right back, having been a great balance of romance and suspense. It's jam-packed with both. The characters were outrageously wonderful; you'll fall in love with both of them. One of the things I love about this author is you don't have to forge through a number of paragraphs to get to the actual couple's interaction in the story. And her books seem to make you feel like you've spent every moment of the days passed through the book with the characters, being able to learn about them thoroughly. I f you even half enjoyed "The Winston Brothers," you'll LOVE Wild.
Rating: Summary: I expected better Review: I saved this book for a vacation read and put it down numerous times. I finally finished reading it because I didn't have much else to read. It wasn't a bad story. Sensuality level was on the mark, but... it just wasn't a great story. However, I am in the minority and you should try this book. I usually love the 'family' novels, especially when you get to revisit characters. But this time it just felt too forced. I enjoyed 'The Winston Brothers' much more although by necessity the stories were short.

Rating: Summary: Another disappointing Lori Foster book! Review: I was soooo disappointed by this book! I felt let down after reading the "Winston Brothers" novellas, but assumed that the lack of plot had to do with the fact those were basically short stories. So I looked forward to seeing what Foster could do with a longer format. I wish I hadn't bothered. I've concluded that Foster simply lacks talent and imagination. The plot of "Wild" was non-existent. Although Zane Winston is supposedly the "wild" brother, we see none of that wildness in this story, except for constant references to the fact that he will sleep with anything that moves (or stands still, I gather). Tamara, the heroine, realized she's fallen in love with Zane after knowing him for one whole day. The dialogue, especially among the brothers, is inane. Although the sex scenes were good, they came too late in the book (more than halfway through) and were rather tame. To be perfectly honest, I felt cheated by this book, and I certainly won't pay to read another Lori Foster book. Not when there are such good erotica writers out there, like Emma Holly and Susan Johnson.
