Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: This is why i stay away from Contemporary Romance. Review: Okay...lets keep in mind that this is my first contemporary romance by JM,i've read almost all of her historical stuff and love it to pieces but unfortunately Tender Triump aint a historical and i dont love it either.in one word to describe the book:Freaky.I kid you not.i mean the woman is so trusting...she met a guy in a dark parking lot,let him drive her car,let him inside her apartment and then make out with him....i mean what?!does she has a death wish or something?! i'm just dunbstrucked by the whole plot, and thats not in a good way too.the guy's just to freakly obssessive(Dominant anyone?).Although the ending is good but the story lack a certain something...a logical plot.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Did someone else write this? Review: Sorry Judith...I can't believe this is really your work. I love the characters and stories in all of your other books. I was beginning to think you an unfailing, story-telling genius. I do feel a little guilt as I type this as I didn't even finish the last part of the book but I feel a need to warn other readers of this dissappointing book. Pick up any of her other books and you can't go wrong. I kept thinking Katie and Ramon would develop and grow as the book went on but other than Katie's glorious red, gold hair and Ramon's tall, dark, handsomeness, there would be nothing to fill those endless chapters. Where are the wonderful characters filled with wit, humor and passion that you have spoiled us with? I'll still read, and probably enjoy all your future books, but I can't help but wonder, did you really write this one Judith?

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: The most disappointing of her books Review: The second half of the book started getting interesting, but I didn't buy the 1950s attitude toward women and marriage.I am a big Judith McNaught fan, but I can't recommend that you buy this one. Try one of her others, especially one of the historicals. They are absolutely wonderful!
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Disappointing - to say the least! Review: This book lacked the sort of wit, passion and sexual tension we've all come to expect from Judith McNaught. And it was boring (I only finished it because I had nothing better to do). If you buy this book expecting the usual magic from Judith Mcnaught - forget it, buy another book. I've read most of Judith Mcnaught's books and all had been excellent, that's why I was so disappointed with this one. No where near the class of "Until You", "Perfect", and "Something Wonderful".
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Hard to get through Review: Usually love her novels and characters, but I couldn't get through this novel at all. The relationship between Roman and Katie was not developed. Their characters were not understood. I did not get to enjoy any of the great dialogue usually in her novels. Katie seemed really shallow, while Roman seemed to be weird with his background and status (not telling her anything up front). Although Romance novels are made-believe, this one is too far off.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Very jumbled, is this really McNaught? Review: WOW, was Kate ever bigoted. She sees a Hispanic man and a pickup truck, so she figures he must be some sort of delivery boy working with produce. Never mind that Ramon is intelligent, kind, and witty. Noooo, he's Hispanic, so he can't do anything IMPORTANT, right? This book didn't make much sense to me. Ramon wanted a wife who could be happy living on a farm, and Kate seemed the antithesis of that idea to me. As far as I'm concerned, the two main characters only had one thing going for them: good sex.
