Rating: Summary: Be prepared to LAUGH! Review: Noble and Gillian's story is not only heartwarming with plenty of interesting characters. Be prepared for Gillian's Unfortunate Affliction. It is great and so is she. She is unaffected and warm just the thing the Noble and his son Nick need in order to heal a wound from the past. An entertaining read from start to finish.
Rating: Summary: Laugh and sigh out loud fun. Review: Noble Britton is looking for a wife, one who is quiet and biddable and will never betray and harm him like his late wife did. Unfortunately, he finds himself attracted and eventually married to Gillian Leigh, the spirited American prone to accidents of an Unfortunate nature. As the two fight to find footing with each other, Gillian must break through the hard exterior Noble presents to the world in order to heal the man and his son before they can really be a family. If you want to laugh out loud and be forced to read a book from cover to cover in one sitting, pick up Noble Intentions immediately! Katie Macalister's debut is enchanting, emotional, and will make you spit your soda across the room with laughter. Not only are Gillian and Noble written with true character, but with a wit that makes them hard not to love. This is a winner and a keeper and I can't wait for Noble Destiny which doesn't come out until NEXT YEAR!!!
Rating: Summary: I Loved It! Review: Noble Intentions is one of the funniest and most thoroughly entertaining books I have ever read. My husband couldn't understand why I was laughing so while reading a "romantic novel." Buy it, read it and be prepared to enjoy. Gillian is one of the best heroines ever. She's accident-prone, but she's honest, funny and not at all annoying like most heroines are. You'll love the scenes involving Gillian and her fire starting at balls, her blue paint disaster, the problems of trying to disembark from a small carriage while on a visit to Lord Carlisle, the Oils of Araby therapy with her husband, her exchange with pirate butler Crouch in the bedroom while Noble was asleep - I could go on and on. By all means, buy this book. I am looking forward eagerly to more of the same by author Katie MacAlister.

Rating: Summary: A clumsy woman with wonderful values! Review: Ok I very rarely give a book a 10 but this one gets one (Only can give 5 stars though). A fantastic story about a clumsy, tall, accident prone red head who also thinks out load a little to often. This is a wonderful story. Noble thinks he knows what he wants for his son and himself and exactly what type of wife he needs. Boy is he wrong and Gillian proves this. Throughout this book you will come to love her... she sets fire to a Dukes house, dresses up in mens clothes and follows her husband to London after he tells her to stay home. "You go girl" One of the funnies scenes must be when she utters the words "I'm not the one chained naked to my mistresses bed with a broken man part". If you like romances you must read this one!
Rating: Summary: A keeper Review: Outrageously funny and sexy. I've never laughed so hard while reading before. This is a must read for any romance fan.
Rating: Summary: Great read from a not-so-new author! Review: Thank goodness Marthe Arends is back, writing now as Katie MacAlister! Her first book, The Lion's Shadow, was excellent--and I've been waiting for a second book by her and was not disappointed! I only found out by accident that they are the same people! I surfed right over to Amazon and bought my copy of Noble Intentions--which is a wonderful romp rife with humor and romance. I can't wait for her next book!
Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Money or Time ! Review: The only thing that made me feel glad about this book is that I didn't spend any money to buy it.This is the worst of the worst. The heroine made me grit my teeth -- a total moron behaving more like a nymphomaniac than a Regency Miss. I can put up with a screwball comedy of manners but not something so stupid and witless. It is beyond the suspension of disbelief.
Rating: Summary: Funny & Heartwarming - A Keeper Review: There are very few books I've ever been compelled to read more than once and never a romance novel (though I've read literally hundreds by some of the best writers out there), but Katie MacAlister's characters are so charming and the story so heartwarming, I keep returning to it again and again. The humor is fresh, original, and will literally make you laugh out loud. The characters' affinity for one another is instantaneous and lasting, and the story is very engaging. After reading Noble Intentions, I've made it a point to read most everything else by Ms. MacAlister, and it is all good, but this is by far her best.
