Summary: Good but...
Review: I usually enjoy VH novels to the max and this one is no exception but it was a little predictable. Even so, I recommend this book because it is still a very good story.

Summary: One in a million
Review: I was in a library one day just looking for a book to read. I came accross a small booked squished between works of great literature and upon feeling sorry for the little book I rescued it from being suffocated. The cover caught my eye as it looked like an old ghost story type book so I brought it home to give it a try and forgot all about it. Two days before it was due to go home the library I was feeling very bored so I picked up the book and cautiously turned the first page half expecting dust worms to fall out, as it had been in the library for about twenty years. Dust mites didn't fall out of it, but what did, was one of the best written and imaginative stories I have ever read and shall intend to read again when I get it from ebay. Now I am not a housewife or a pensioner. I am a modern 18 year old working class girl, but I can still enjoy the great reads of the world and appreciate the imagination and work that went into this book. If you wish to discuss this book with me, please email me at Louise_hob@hotmail.com. One day I am going to be a film maker and I might make it into a motion picture - someday!

Summary: MEMORABLE
Review: I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL. SO WONDERFUL THAT I REMEMBERED IT FROM READING IT SEVEN YEARS AGO. I AM SO HAPPY TO FIND IT AGAIN. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT FOR YOUNG WOMEN/TEENAGERS TO READ IF THEY LIKE ROMANCE AND MYSTERY WITHOUT THE PROFANITY AND DETAILED LOVE SCENES SO PREVALENT TODAY.

Summary: A little predictable but,
Review: On the Night of the Seventh Moon by Victoria Holt is a little predictable...but predictable works for me. I am a sucker for happily ever endings! What's wrong with that?

Summary: The BEST VH Book...
Review: On the Night of the Seventh Moon, in my humble opinion, is Victoria Holt's masterpiece. It's full of romance, mystery, and suspense. It kept me up all night so I could finish it, and the ending was unexpected. Usually, with Victoria Holt's later works, I could always predict the end, but this story twisted and turned the whole way through. Highly recommended...

Summary: It was magical
Review: The first time I read it, I became totally enchanted. It made me develop an interest for everything German, and I studied German and went to visit the Black Forest only because of this novel!

It is magic and charming. Both erotic and sweetly innocent. I suppose every girl's dream is to meet such a man as Count Maximilian and live such a romantic adventure as Helena in the novel.

Summary: what was she thinking?
Review: the idea was good, but executed extremely poorly. The main character had absolutely NO personality.in fact, i found it extremely degrading to women! the ditz spent her entire life looking for a man she only knew for barely a week! please! despite this, it was STILL pretty bad. the climax was anti-suspenseful, and the book was predictable as a whole. its one of those cheesy love novels were everything ends happily ever after. i notice that alot of her novels follow the same pattern- naive woman falls in love, marries, doesnt trust her husband, leaves him, has a baby, reunites, lives happily ever after. if your into cheesy youll like this, if youre not, dont bother...
