Summary: Fun, Compelling, Great Read!
Review: Gwendolyn Wilder did not believe in dragons, but the people of Ballybliss did. When the 'Dragon' starts aking for more and more food, and finally money to make him go away, the vilagers decide to give him a 'sacrifice' to appease him and mabye he'll let them be. Only a virgin will do, and being the only virgin in the village, Gwendolyn is taken to the Castle Weycraig and tied to a pole in the courtyard and left to await the Dragons' appearance.

While Gwen waits to be 'eaten or whatever else the Dragon might do to her' she realizes that her predicament is precarious. She knows that the so-called Dragon is a fraud, and that there was a good explaination for all of the lights flickering and bagpipe playing that has drifted down from the castle, but as a terrible storm approaches, she gets nervous and wonders what will happen next. When it does and the Dragon comes out from the silver mists and she sees his face, she faints.

The Dragon carries her into his lair and keeps her as his papmered prisoner, never showing her his face. He'd made her faint for God's sake, if she saw his face again she may get hesterical! But the night was his cover, and soon Gwen falls for his sensual allure, his passionate kisses, and becomes aware that the Dragon is only a man. A flesh and blood man, out for revenge; from what she didn't know, but as the story unfolds and all is finally revealed, including his true identity, Gwen understands the true meaning of betrayal and heartbreak.

Can the Dragon make her understand his motives and make her love him again? Can Gwen ever trust the 'real' man that the Dragon is, or mourn the Dragon she thought him to be.

I love Teresa Medeiros. The first book I read of hers, Charming the Prince, had me hooked. Her writing syle is so compelling and full of feeling, that you'll fall in love with all of her characters. You'll never be disappointed with anything written by her!

Summary: Funny, touching, sexy and heartfelt
Review: I loved it. This is one of my favorite authors--there is a bone-deep understanding of love and romance at the heart of all her books. The secondary characters (some zany, some heartbreaking) add a wonderful texture to this delightful book. If you're a hopeless cynic, don't bother, but to everyone else: Don't miss it!

Summary: Bride and the Beast Is Not
Review: I was disappointed with Teresa Medeiros' latest, The Bride and the Beast, it was not one of her best. The characters nor the story line were not fully developed. The "magic" that is usually in Medeiros' books just wasn't in this one. I hope the next one has more substance, as Medeiros is usually one of my favorite authors.

Summary: Keeping with author's style...
Review: This latest offering from Ms. Medeiros proves that humor can make or break the novel. As is typical with Medeiros' novels, this one has a snappy plot, fast-paced dialogue, and is chock full of the author's trademark humor. It is not, however, her best character study, as the hero is not as strongly developed as he could have been. Overall, this is a very good read; but, unless you are a Medeiros die-hard, do wait for the paperback.

Summary: Perfect!
Review: Castles, dragons, traitors, and even humor are found in this wonderful book. It was a perfect recipe for romance.

I have read all of her books. Not one has been a disappointment. She is the queen of romance writers. Read all of her books.

Summary: An enchanting rendition of Beauty and the Beast.
Review: Gwendolyn Wilder was plain and sensible and, compared to her beautiful sisters, fat. As a child, she fell in love with the Weyrcraig heir, Bernard MacCullough. But the MacCullough clan was betrayed to the English by one of Gweenie's fellow townspeople. All the clan were murdered, the Laird cursing the village with his dying breath. Now a Dragon is living in the destroyed castle, seeking the thousand in gold paid to the traitor. His demands cause the villagers to drag Gwen to the castle as a virgin sacrifice. There are very few virgins over the age of 6 in the village. Gwen finds herself changing from reluctant captive to loving her dragon. Will her love last when she learns the truth about the Dragon and the traitor?

Just as in the Disney version, Beauty is educated and a book lover (a good description of most romance readers, also). The Dragon is a lovable beast, tormented by his own memories and need for revenge. The author of CHARMING THE PRINCE has given her public another wonderful fairytale adaptation.

Summary: Another wonderful fairy tale from a brillant author!
Review: I have to say that this is one of those rare, wonderful books that just keeps you spellbound from beginning to end. Ms. Medieros has definitely outdone herself with this brillant and light-hearted romance. Definintely one for the keeper shelf.

Summary: A wonderful fairy tale.
Review: Teresa Medeiros does it again. Lyrical prose, utterly vivid characters, evocative emotional writing, and a truly terrific story. Another warm, wonderful book from Ms. Medeiros to leave you smiling.

Summary: A new treasure for the keeper shelf!
Review: Teresa Medeiros has been one of my favorite authors since way back when and she just keeps getting better. I didn't think she could top CHARMING THE PRINCE, but she did it with this one. I can't explain why her writing is so powerful, but she makes me feel all of the emotions her characters are feeling. I fell in love with "the Dragon" right along with Gwendolyn and to me, that's true magic! (I have to confess that I also fell a little in love with Tupper, too!) I also loved the fact that her heroine wasn't a size 2 in this book, but a "plump" beauty. (Just like me!)
