Summary: Heartbroken
Review: I should have checked the reviews at Amazon before I read this book.It would have saved me from heartache. I agree with the three other reviewers, this was a disappointment.Painful to be precise. Miss Brown, for unknown reasons killed a wonderful hero from Sunset Embrace. Why???? I want to know. Heroes, especially someone as wonderful as Ross, live forever in the minds of readers. I want my happy ever after. Any chance the death of Ross can be scratched from the story? I mean not the particular page torn off like what me and my sisters did. Can it be rewritten? Will Miss Brown do it? Please...

Summary: Another Dawn was o.k. - not great.
Review: I thought the book was too long. So many pages were filled with Banner or Jake agonizing over their feelings for each other. I agree with the reader who said that the way Banner convinced Jake to make love was wrong. However, I disagree with all the readers who thought Ross should not have died. He had been a criminal and killed people, include law enforcement. His dying words about being fortunate to have the time he did live with Lydia were true. And as other readers stated, Ross, Banner, etc. are FICTIONAL characters!

Summary: Very dissapointed
Review: I was very dissapointed in this book. Jake aka Bubba has been in love with Lydia for the past twenty years. Where is there a 16 year old that falls in love and stays in love for twenty years? Banner was spoiled and selfish. The secondary characters were horrible. Priscilla wanted respectability when she was the one that wanted to become a... It kept going back and forth with Jake and Banner. They'd get along then they'd fight, etc... I thought that was unacceptable to this series. Overall it was a big dissapointment.

Summary: LOVE SANDRA BROWN, HATED THIS BOOK!
Review: I'VE TRIED TO REVIEW THIS BOOK FOUR TIMES! I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG, BUT HERE I GO AGAIN! From the start I had probelms with this book. What Banner did to persuade Jake to make love to her was despicable. To use his feeling for her mother(Lydia) against him and ask him to use her(Banner) as a substitute? What kind of a self respecting lady would do that? I can understand that Banner was young and was in need of comfort, but she should have been woman enough to persuade Jake on her own. Then she makes Jake spend the majority of the book trying to convince her that he loves her and not her mom! As if that wasn't bad enough then Ross(her Dad) is killed. Was this so that the author could show once in for all that Jake only loved Banner? What a shame that Lydia would have to suffer so much because of an insecure selfish daughter. I HAVE LOVED ALL THE OTHER SANDRA BROWN BOOKS I HAVE READ, BUT IN MY OPINION THIS ONE WAS WRITTEN BY THE AUTHOR'S EVIL TWIN!

Summary: This is a keeper, guaranteed favorite...
Review: If there is ever a book that is worthy of reading, it has got to be Another Dawn. This book is a keeper. I actually read this novel years ago and I still treasure it within my "best ever" romance collection. It is a touching story of Banner Coleman and Jake Langston, a ner to do well cowboy who together find love and peace with each other. Excellent story, a must read...

Summary: another breath-taking romance by sandra brown
Review: If you read 'Sunset Embrace', and liked it as much as I did, you will also enjoy this book. I was delighted to discover that it was the sequel to 'Sunset Embrace'. I enjoyed both of them very much and would reccomend them to anyone looking for a good, accurate historical romance. Although it is fiction, Sandra Brown's writing style pulls you into the book, and you really feel you get to know all the characters. This book will take you along with every emotion the characters feel

Summary: The best sequel ever written!
Review: Ms. Brown does a superb job of revisiting the members of the the wagon train traveling group with Another Dawn. From beginning to end, the dialogue is excellent and realistic. Even though one part is tragic and heartbreaking,(you all know which one), the book follows well in the golden footsteps of Sunset Embrace. An excellent read!

Summary: wahhhh-boo-hoo-hoo
Review: Ms. Brown you cannot do this to Ross Coleman. Lydia's life have been so sad already, why can't you leave her alone and let her have her happiness. She had been raped by her step-brother, see her friend get killed by that step-brother, and almost lost Ross when it was discovered that he is a gangster in his youth named Sonny Clark. It is not fair to let Lydia lose her Ross now just when everything is perfect for her. She is well loved by her husband, children, and friends. When I read of Ross's death I forgot that this book was suppose to be about Jake and Banner the book's main characters. I was shocked that Ross could die. I could not get it out of my mind that a great guy like Ross could be killed by some no good jerk who just wants the reward money. How could a hero like Ross be killed by a guy who is not worth a penny? How could a hero die? That is not right. Ross did not deserve to die. Priscilla, should be punish for her evilness but not Ross, never Ross. Does Amazon.com have any way of contacting Ms. Sandra Brown and let her know that some of her readers are very disappointed and heartbroken over Ross Coleman's death?
