Summary: I loved It
Review: I don't care what any other people say but Sandra Brown is a genious. The way she made us fall in love with Ross, Lydia, Jake and Banner was pure mastery. I have to admit that I cried when Ross was killed. I've read the book four times and I still try not to cry. What Banner did was understandable, I dont blame her. Untill you feel as though you are not woman enough or not acceptable there is no telling what length you would go to, to prove yourself. Keep it up Sandra Brown. I love your writing. I had the entire collection and now I have to start all over because the men working construction on our house accidently ruined them. The first two books a bought again was Sunset Embrace and Another Dawn.

Summary: A good sequel
Review: I don't usually read historical romances, but after reading 'Sunset Embrace', I had to try 'Another Dawn'. I must say that the idea of an 18 year old girl and a man old enough to be her father was at first unappealing, but the romance between them was great. The love scenes were hot and I loved the development SB did with the secondary characters too! I felt for the Coleman family at the end and teared up a bit. If you like old west romance, then this is definitely a book for you.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I enjoyed this books from cover to cover. I especially liked the way this story was tied to Sunset Embrace. There was more than the mere mention of characters. I am definitely keeping this one! Is there a story about Lee?

Summary: A great read
Review: I finished this book while trapped in during a blizzard and couldn't put it down. I thought it was very well written. I cried when Ross died. To those who said they characters were just fiction, we know this but they still seem real and a part of us as we read the books. TO those who were so upset by Ross's death everyone has to die sometime even fictonal characters. They did get there happy ending, we just got to see the ending. It was a great read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a great romance

Summary: Very good
Review: I found this book very good. I had a hard time putting it down because it was very interested in finding out how the story would end. Although I hated getting to the end because it was over. Anyone who enjoys a good Texas historical romance should pick this one up.

Summary: If you loved Sunset Embrace, don't read this one
Review: I loved Sunset Embrace and when I picked this book up realizing it was a sequal, I was excited. It just didn't live up to Sunset Embrace. I can say it since another reviewer let the cat out of the bag, but when Ross died, I couldn't believe it. Why?? It ruined the entire story. I hated it!

Summary: I should have listened to the others...
Review: I read all of the reviews here before reading this so I knew what was coming, but I liked SB so much that I thought it would be worth it. Wrong. It's because she is such a good writer that I care so much about her characters, and the "surprise" plot twist in this novel - even though I expected it - was so upsetting that it distracted me from the story of the main characters and I almost couldn't finish it. Ms. Brown must have known that her decision to include this would bother many fans - I wonder if she knew it would sour some of us on her work for good?

Summary: Sandra Brown
Review: I read Another Dawn several years ago and loved it. You really should read Sunset Embrace first. I have read all of Sandra Brown's books and recommend them highly, especially Mirror Image.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: i loved this one almost as much as sunset embrace
Review: i read this book as soon as it came out in 93,i couldn't wait to read more about ross and lydia. when i read the part where ross died i was so mad that i threw the book across the room and swore that i would never read another of ms. brown's books again. of course i have she is my favorite, but why kill ross? sunset embarce was the most wonderful book i have ever read and another dawn is the second best. i have introduce dozens of people to ms. brown using these two books, i just wish she would continue to write books like these . this is when she was at her best. even though she is still good , her books of late do not have the staying power that her eariler books had. i highly recommend this book and sunset embrace! be prepared to fall in love with the charactors. you will have a hard time putting this one down. it stays with you forever!
