Summary: The ending is wonderful
Review: I tremendously enjoyed this book. Although there are areas that are not quite as convincing and the main character is a bit too well connected, the story presented is still very fascinating. I particularly enjoy the ending of the book, which gave me a jolt that lasted on me for long time. I strongly recommend this book for anybody seeking a good suspense reading, it has the same quality as "The Firm".

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Action-packed and suspenseful with humor and irony
Review: This book is a "must-read" for anyone who enjoys drama and suspense, and also who enjoys a good debate on ethics and morality. This book will leave you wondering, questioning and hungry for more John Case. The perfect book for mind-bending and provocation. If you enjoy a book filled with suspense, action and the possiblity of reality, you've got to check it out!

Summary: "The Genesis Code" is a hard to put down thrilling book.
Review: I very much enjoyed reading "The Genesis Code". It was hard to put down and I looked forward to each chapter as we got closer to the answers. Any other books John Case comes out with will definetly be read by me. Try a few out and see.

Summary: Spellbinding and chilling story of religious terrorism.
Review: Once started, literally couldn't put it down. Full impact hidden until the last sentense. Vatican II relationship seems to be historically accurate.

Summary: excellent story that kept me reading and thinking
Review: This book keeps you guessing until the very end. Its story and characters kept me going for more. I definitely recommend reading this!

Summary: Gripping
Review: I almost didn't read this book, because I thought it would be a Robert Ludlum-like thriller and while, I used to love them, they are boring to me now, but one day I had nothing else to read and started this and wow, couldn't put it down. The DNA information was most interesting and the end was fabulous. Personally, I was rooting for the end of the Catholic church with its power- mad male-only leaders, but this ending was most satisfying. I plan to read more John Case, who- ever he is.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: The secret at the beginning of the story grabbed me. I didn't figure it out till it was revealed. Near the end I stopped to try and predict how the author could possibly end the book in the way that I wanted...he did it! As I read the last paragraph I had chills and it brought tears and I laughed! The hallmark of any good read in "my" book! The only thing that frustrated me was Lassiter's forgetting about the note that could have solved a great deal, however, he did have a lot on his mind! ; )

Summary: Finally, the art of writing returns
Review: Case is a word artist painting people places and situations in lush visual detail. Genesis Code is a real page turner with a beautifully crafted story, truly evil bad guys and a gentle touch of romance. I didn't feel comfortable with some of the science; but great writing style and intense action were so good, I didn't care. The guy does amazing non-fiction too. I predict John (or whatever your real name is) is going right to the top.

Summary: WHAT A GOOD BOOK - DON'T PUT IT DOWN UNTIL FINISHED!!!
Review: This is the first time I've read a book like this. I read mainly Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Turow and such. I could not have been advised to have read a better book. Although some of his facts were not true about the Catholic religion, one still has to remember it is fiction. If you want to learn about the Catholic religion, you need to check out a non-fiction book about it. Being Catholic, I knew from the start that when you go into confession, it goes no further. This book is GREAT and is a page turner to the VERY end.

Summary: An excellent and different mystery.
Review: I enjoyed this book a great deal. The plot hooked me very soon into the book. I thought the characters were well developed and I enjoyed meeting and getting to know them. The ending was a bit much, but remember it is a work of fiction. I have just started his latest one "The Horseman" and it is a thriller also. I like this writer alot. Both books are very suspensful.
