Summary: I thought this book was a great ending....
Review: I thought this book was a great ending for the Malory Brothers and a great beginning for their children. I have read all of the Malory books and I have to say I am partial to James and George. I hope that Ms. Lindsey will continue writing about this intriguing family. I would like to see how the brothers handle their daughters and the men in their lives.

Summary: A Christmas To Remember, for sure...
Review: The Present by Johanna Lindsey is a historical story about one family's many secrets, sketetons, family tensions, and even an unrequited love! A moving story you won't want to miss!

Summary: My favorite holiday book!
Review: I couldn't put this book down! The story grabbed me and held on right to the last page!

Summary: Not So Good
Review: Like everyone else who reviewed this book, I too, have read all the other books in the Malory series. Unlike everyone else, however, I was not as enthusiastic about this book. Granted every romance novel is little more than a canned formula, but it is the telling of the story that makes it worthwhile. This book was to short to have any interesting character development and the love story wasn't believable. It is a very quick read so if you do decide to read it and are disappointed as I was, you won't have wasted too much time!

Summary: Roots of the Malory Clan
Review: While this is technically the last of the Malory novels, and they SHOULD be read in order, it is the love story of the original Malorys, and traces many of the characteristics of the current day Malory family to them. It is utterly charming, but the best part of it is the "update" of the current day family and their broods of children. It is almost impossible to dislike any member of this amazing family, and enjoyable to read about them. Read the other books first and save this as the icing on the cake. Then do as I did, search the Web, looking to see, if perchance, mysteriously, another Malory novel remains to be read...maybe one was published I missed? :))

Summary: Didn't finish it.... I hadn't done the pre-requisite reading
Review: I'm sure people will think I should have "given it a chance" and stuck with this book, but the first NINE CHAPTERS deal with members of a huge family who apparently have all had books written about them. Not only had I not read any of these previous books, but there were too many family members to keep straight. By the time I got to the journal (the "present" of the title), I really didn't care about any of these people OR their ancestors. Normally I love a series in which common characters pop up and are woven through the books, but this one was ridiculous! I guess if you've read ALL the previous Malory family stories, this would be the icing on the cake for you, but if you just pick up this book out of the blue... you'll be as lost as I was.

Summary: The Present
Review: I enjoyed this book I own all the "Malory Novels" This was a welcome finish. Even thought it was short, It was enjoyable and the players were true to form and followed though with how they have been portrayed through all the books. This also filled in the previously spots never explored before.I did feel sad at the end that we might not see any more Malory's since it was tied up so well. I'll keep my finger crossed that another might be on the horizon.

Summary: 6th book in the Malory Series
Review: First off, here is the series in sequence: 1. Love Only Once 2. Tender Rebel 3. Gentle Rogue 4. The Magic of You 5. Say You Love Me 6. The Present: The Malory Holiday Novel

I was hesistant in reading this one because the previous book, Say You Love Me (5th novel), was not to my liking... However, since this is the last book (so far) in the series and since I have already bought the book, I made myself read it with open mind. I am happy to say this book was indeed worth my time. The updates of every MALORY was a joy.........Note: I have notice that all books in this Malory series (except for the first one) contains lots of repetitive informations. There were times I had to skip parts wherein a Malory or two will start discussing the story or happenings of the previous books, sorta like a short summarization for those who have not read it. For readers like me who have read the series in sequence, It's kindda useless info. and i won't lose anything to skip it... At first, this style of writing didn't seem to bother me but when I got to the third book of the series, the summarization of the first two books was getting to me. Imagine my restlessness when i was reading the 4th and the 5th book! I skipped more parts then cuz I didn't need to read the summary of the 3-4 previous books which i have already read. Whew! I say it would have been better for Ms. J.L. to leave readers some thrill to pick up each book and read each story for themselves. This 6th novel also had shares of summarizations but it wasn't as bad as the 4th (The Magic of You) and 5th book.

Christopher and Anna's (Malory Grandparents) story was touchy & interesting. It is also different from the usual Malory story considering the time plot and the social structure of Anna. The add on story of Jason & Molly was also quite nice. Though I enjoyed Cristoff and Anna's love story more. There's were far more amusing and endearing. The whole book was a good read. Heart warming! It'll make you realize how important family truly is. No matter what each member's point of views, faults & even scandals, family sticking together can surely make a difference. A family together will survive almost any difficulties. Again, I specially liked every updates of the Malory! ...and I can't wait to read Jeremy's Story and perhaps the Anderson brother's as well.

Summary: No words to describe it
Review: This book was fantastic. I loved the other Malory books, but I must say that this was my favorite. I hope that she will make more books about the younger Malory generation. This is a definate book to buy and re-read. I hope others enjoy it as much as I have.
