Summary: Pretty good but sometimes a little annoying
Review: I have always had a hard time finding books that I can really get into. This book got my attention from the start. Jake and Molly were wonderful characters and the excitement starts from the first page. If your looking for a book that you won't be able to put down, Sweet Nothings is a great choice.

Summary: Don't waste your time
Review: I have loved every contemporary romance Catherine Anderson has written so I usually trust her books as being good on sight, however, this book was not deserving of that trust. It dragged on for page after page after page with the same discussion over this womens mountain sized insecurties. Get over it already! and move on with the story, the romance please. The best and most romantic part of this book was the end. Why because it was the END and there was finally some romance.

Summary: Very misleading .....
Review: I have read probably most of Catherine Andersons' previous books and greatly enjoyed most of them, so much so that I would buy one of her books just for having her name on the cover. This novel not only was a disappointing example of her writing, but also very boring!! The title was extremely misleading, as the hero of the book jake spends very little time with the horse, and accomplishes nothing dramatic over the course of the book. There are several inaccuracies with regards to the horses ( treating "Thumps") , and one had to wonder how someone on the verge of bankruptcy could afford to have 10 men on his payroll?? the most distracting portions of the book were the constant referance to the heroine, Mollys' " pleasant plumpness", her curves, soft belly, and squishy cellulite. While I embrace the idea of a less than model perfect heroine, her physical attributes ( or lack or ) were repeated so constantly, and made so much the focus of the book, that the reader loses site of what I assume is the point being made by the author , that beauty is more than skin deep. All in all, I found my self skimming the majority of the book, just to reach the ending

Summary: Real men *can* love like this...
Review: I love Catherine Anderson, and she made me adore her even more with this heartwarming book. Bless her for showcasing a much-less-than-Barbie heroine. I could *so* relate to Molly's insecurities about her physical appearance, especially when the man saying he's hopelessly in love with you is gorgeous - that could easily be me and my husband. He loves all of my imperfect parts, so I have no problem believing the same of Jake. I was also glad to see that this story was not a rehash of "The Horse Whisperer" - that part of the plot lurks in the background and is only used as needed to further the human relationship. I enjoyed the "mystery" elements as well, and even though I knew there had to be a happy ending, I was kept guessing as to how they'd get there. I know I'll be re-reading this one soon. Brava, Ms. Anderson!

Summary: Im shocked at all of these negative reviews!!
Review: I Loved this book!! Jake was an absolutely AWESOME hero. I adored the way he responded to Molly. I will admit that at times Molly was frustrating..but that is what made her so real..she was ABUSED for years!!! All of the deep seeded feelings and insecurities that came along with that ill treatment cannot possibly disappear overnight!!! Also, I found it a bit wild that Jake liked all of her dimples as well, but the point is that he loved her..ALL OF HER..for who she was...why is it so unbelievable that a man would like a curvy woman?? Its not...it happens, and in this case..even though Jake was a fox..it was totally believable. I adored this book..my only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because i felt that it could have had a bit shaved off from the middle. Other than that...LOVELY!! I definitely recommend it!

Summary: Loved it so much.
Review: I thought this book was excellent. I love how Catherine Anderson didn't make Molly a 100 pounds and like 5/6. She made her 5/2 and a 140 pounds. I thought that was great because ususally in romance novels the girl is always unrealistically built. Most women are molly's size. Even though its only fiction, it makes people who are not a size two enjoy the book.
Its great how Jake finds her so attractive. They have the best chemistry together. Its great how she finds him after a ten year bad marriage. I think in our lives, we all want a man like Jake. I think we all wish that would happen in real life.
The book is also good cause it has interesting turns and twists. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good mystery and romance. It's an awsome read . It was so good I read it in two days.

Summary: Not up to par
Review: I was delighted when I saw that Catherine Anderson had published another book. The start was good, but the characters became unreal. In most her other novels, the attraction starts as admiration or need of the other person's qualities. In this one, the guy is basically in lust and so is she. All this stuff about how she is beautiful and just doesn't know it is very off-putting. It follows the cliche that only beautiful women are sexy, have honorable men want them and have adventures. A far cry from her other novels.

Summary: I was disappointed...
Review: I was very disappointed in this book. I've read all of Catherine Anderson's previous novels and have fallen in love with most of them. There aren't very many that I haven't read more than once. I especially loved Coming Up Roses & Seventh Heaven, and Annie's Song. This book, in my opinion, just doesn't meet up to the level of her previous work. It may just be me, but I think she spends WAY too much time trying to convince the reader that the hero in the story finds this "pleasingly plump" (his exact words) heroine attractive. There's even a line in the book about how he likes the way her buttocks jiggle and how much he likes the "cute little dimples" on her butt. Now I understand and appreciate that a man in love sees his woman as beautiful, but the book takes that concept a little too far. Jake even seriously worries that his ranch hands aren't going to be able to control themselves when they see Molly in a new wardrobe. I too agree that a woman does not have to be a centerfold to be beautiful, but this book kept hitting you over the head with that, and it stole a lot of the beauty of the romance away.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: SHEER BLISS
Review: If you want a hero to die for, and a lady you can cheer for, go buy this book. It is the best read I've had in a long, long, time. I LOVED it! I am now a confirmed Catherine Anderson fan!
