Summary: Hard to put down read
Review: Story was extremely well written, the circumstances were plausible, if weak in development. I'm not sure that I could believe the scenario of the heroine/victim's escape. However, it was a "one-nighter" book..in other words I couldn't put it down until I finished it..
Linda Howard is always a very good read..she keeps your heart rate up and your mind racing, wondering what's going to happen next.

Review: This is my favorite book of Linda Howard. I thought Zane was extremely sexy! What a man. The book was great. Barrie was a wonderful character in the book. Something about this book just grabbed me and I could not put it down. Chance and Nicky just made me laugh. I will be the first in line to buy Chance"s book.

Review: This was the first book of Linda Howard or Beverly Barton that I have read -- well it sent me flying to my usual book store looking for any thing else they have written --- Linda Howard's Mackenzie's Pleasure Zane & Barrie's story -- was so moving, and enjoyable, I never put it down once I started, I have since read Mackenzie's Mission Joe's & caroline Evans' story and am now searching for the stories on Michael, Joshua & Maris, I have just put Chance's story in my cart (...) great reading --- romance like this is truely a pleasure.

Review: Zane Mackenzie is everything you want to see in a Navy SEAL -
Dang! but he is hot!
Finally we get a young woman that is worthy of the hero.Barrie Lovejoy takes the only out to driving away the emotional and physical trauma she was subjected to in her kidnapping. Zane Mackenzie, in the tradition of his father and brothers is man enough and sensitive enough to deal with Barrie. When Zane is wounded in portecting Barrie, she becomes distaught at being forced to leave Zane behind without knowing if he would live. I loved finding about Wolf and his family, especially Michael and Josh [why don't they have stories of their own?] Poor Joe, 5 sons and no daughter. It took Barrie and Zane to pull a fast one. There is just something about these Mackenzie men that puts your hormones on red alert. We need more of these guys and more women like Barrie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- definitely all are keepers - what a collection of men.
