Summary: A must read for Interracial romance fans
Review: A chance encounter turns neighbors into friends, and friends into lovers. The story between Maya and Nick was well developed and characters were flawless. There is actually a story line, compared to most interracial novels and the story, as well as the characters are very modern and realistic I loved the gradual way the author presented the evolution of their relationship, it seemed very natural and genuine. Their lovemaking was simply breath taking. I'm looking forward to reading more of Seressia Glass work.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful love story
Review: After reading Ms. Glass's first novel No Committment Required, I was skeptical in my reaction to another interracial love story. Boy, what was I thinking, this story is well written and wonderfully appealing to anyone who's involved in a relationship especially with inlaws who are not receptive. The relationship was wonderfully created, not too fast not too slow. The love scenes were pure genius. You will be pleasantly surprised at the emotions conveyed. It's definitely a keeper.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not too Shabby
Review: Character development needed work. Storyline was good, but execution could have been a bit better. Also had some good dialogue.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Heartwarming interracial love story
Review: Great characters you want to meet and have for friends. Sexy, real, romantic and heartrending in all the right places!

A previous customer reviewer made several references and comparisons to another Genesis interracial romance titled "Fate." And noted "Fate" as a book my Ms. Glass. Ms. Glass DID NOT pen "Fate." That one was by Pamela Leigh Starr. Ms. Glass's previous interracial romance is titled "No Commitment Required," another must-read.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: I love Seressia, but not this book.
Review: Her first book, No Commitment Required was flawless, but she faltered with this one. The concept was a good one, but the execution didn't hit the mark. The heroine, Maya is cool as is Nick and Taylor but there is something that is missing in this book that just left me wishing for more. I wasn't satisfied when I finished this book and I'm sad to say this considering this is the same author of No Commitment Required.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Book
Review: I actually really really enjoyed this book. I felt that Ms. Glass has actually grown in this novel, mainly comparing it to the over-the-top languge in No Commitment Required.
I loved the little girl, I loved the heroine's family and the characterization of everyone involved in the novel.

Nothing was farfetched, and there was nothing over the top. Just a well developed basic romance, and with the smallest mention of interracial dating, mainly due to the fact the heroine happens to be biracial herself, although she came out more black.

And I'm hoping Ms. Glass will continue with the part 2 and or 3 to this book, mainly because she left the door open for I believe two people to have a sequel and another novel. Mainly the Heroine's brother who is a widower, if I remember correctly.

All in all it's worth your money if your in the mood for a sweet romance. And will have you perplexed and laughing out loud at the Heroine's pet cat/dog (it's a confused kitty! ^_^)

Enjoy!

Summary: Good, but not Perfect
Review: I just finished "3 Wishes," by Serissia Glass and while I thought it was romantic and sexy and pretty real, I found myself becoming increasing annoyed with the main character, Maya. To have come from such a diverse background (black/vietnamese) and have such a large, loving, supportive family, she had major self-esteem problems. Also, she had very little back bone. Minor obstacles were made life altering which turned out to be little more than time wasters in retrospect. I would have expected her to be just a little bit stronger and fight for what she wanted after all she had been through to find the love. I mean, if you're going to go through the trial and tribulation to find, discover and accept love, you should also put at least a little effort into KEEPING that love. In any case, it was a beautiful love story and a quick read! This is my second book by Seressia Glass and look forward to many more. Go, Girl!
