Summary: Good, but I think I've had enough now
Review: This book and the other by Ms. McNaught about the Claymore family were both enjoyable page-turners. However, now that I've read a total of three of her books, I don't see the need to read any more. McNaught's style is lively and intense, but about as formulaic as one can get. Here's the plot of a Judith McNaught book: Girl meets boy. Girl and boy fall for each other. Boy discovers some information about girl and draws terrible conclusions. Boy refuses to ask girl for truth, and girl runs away without standing up for herself. Boy later realizes he misinterpreted the information and gets girl back. Some external crisis occurs just before the end of the book, but is resolved by second-to-last page. The End! Romance novels are my favorite genre, but just because I like pulp doesn't mean I'm not discriminating. So many authors write and sell the same book over and over, and Judith McNaught is one of these. By all means read a couple of her books, because they are individually quite good. But admit to yourself when you're tired of her, and move on to another writer. If you'd like to find an author whose books are different every time, try Laura Kinsale or Susannah Leigh.

Summary: Fascinating!!! It will surely bring you to the Regency Era!
Review: My compliments to the author,Judith McNaught. I have read several of her books but by far, i think this is her greatest ever! I felt every emotion that Whitney and Claymore went through in this book as if they were real. Chapter 24 really made me cry. It so heart-wrenching, i have to stop reading for a while. I finished the book feeling happy for the Duke and Duchess of Claymore and sad that their story have to end. I wish Ms. McNaught would write a sequel.

Summary: The Best of the Best!!!
Review: This is the first book written by Judith McNaught that I read, and ... wow... I couldn't put it down until the end!!! It is really that great! It's the story that will make you smile, laugh, cry, and then laugh again. It has all aspects of emotions. I was so happy and laugh along with the characters one moment and angry with them next. Judith McNaught knows the way to present love that you will never forget about. I can read fluently in two languages and I have this book in both. This is the book you can read all over even more than twice. If you are looking for a good book, this book is the one you can rely on. I guarantee you won't regret!

Summary: A beautiful stunning book. Could not put it down
Review: This is one of those books that you just cannot put down. A book that makes you smile and makes you feel good! Absolutely amazing. And it was quite amazing that my husband did not divorce me! But they just have to understand!

Summary: I HAVE NEVER READ A ROMANCE NOVEL TWICE....
Review: UNTIL I GOT MY HANDS ON "WHITNEY MY LOVE". The story camptured my attention from the beginning. It took me 5 hours to read. I had so much fun.Have you ever read a book and go through the five seasons of emotions before? I was lauging, I was crying, I was triumphant and I was really attracted to the hero so much so I wanted to kill him, then I love him painfully. My hero.

Summary: The education of the romantics
Review: When I started on Judith McNaught's Whitney My Love I had no idea of the change that this book and her other books will make to me. The character of Whitney as well as other characters have greatly influenced my way of thinking, and of looking at problems and how to solve them. Whitney does not lose hope and courage at the hardest situations and there is certainly a lesson in that. I am especially refering to the rape scene. The character of the Duke is also interesting. From a man-about-the-world he becomes caring. Further developement of these people can be seen in Until You, another strongly recommended book. Thanks for all the interesting historical background facts.

Summary: Wow! Beautiful love story!
Review: I read this book when it was first published years ago... and to-date, I'm still reading it! A beautiful love story between Whitney Stone and the Duke of Claymore indeed... quite unlike other love stories I've read. The hero certainly cuts a very dashing figure... and I'm totally enthralled by him! Ah.. if only such men exists! Incidentally I've read ALL of Judith McNaught's books and "Whitney, my love" is one of her best works! Keep up the good work, Judith!

Summary: Strenght in characters without unrealistic abilities.
Review: This was the first Romance novel I read. A co-worker gave me the book and told me to stop laughing at her reading material and give Romance novels a chance. As my co-worker suspected, I enjoyed this book. However, I am sorely disappointed when I look for new McNaught titles; they are few and far between. I am pleased that Ms. McNaught doesn't mass produce so-so books. This is a rare treat. Give me qualilty over quantity. I have passed this book along to several other people to enjoy, and like me, they were enthralled. I hope that Ms. McNaught has a new book on the horizon.

Summary: Simply Great!!!
Review: Definitely one of the best (if not the best) novels by Judith McNaught....exciting trail of events....interesting characters. Whitney and Clayton are simply a fantastic couple. This makes one realize that with love comes many trials and hurdles that can and should be surpassed.... making the couple and love itself as the ultimate winners in the end.

Summary: Made me a Judith McNaught Fan
Review: Whitney and Clayton are two characters I would never forget! This book got me started again on romance novels; it also made me rush out to buy other McNaught books. This is romance at its best - it made me cry, laugh and sigh (at the end) and by the way, I read this book 7 times! Highly recommended - especially to those hesitant to start reading romances again!
