Rating: Summary: A Touching Story Review: You are a beautiful writer! That story made me cry tears of sorrow and joy.I have to read more of your books.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful romance that captures you and won't let you go! Review: I read this book about 4 years ago and have re-read it about three times! A wonderful romance with a spirited heroine and a masterful, intelligent, and romantic hero. Judith McNaught writes beautifully, making you feel the pain and embarrashment of realizing your first love is not always the best choice. You are a silent observer of Whitney's slow maturing, of her realizing, almost after it's too late, who her true love is. It's a delightful, fast-paced ride. You won't want to put it down.
Rating: Summary: one of my favorite love stories Review: I loved this story when it first came out in paperback and my opinion hasn't changed. I think it is one of the most romantic and touching love stories written. I bought the hardcover addition because I knew it was a story I would read again and again. However, I feel that the updated ending does nothing to enhance the plot or characters. When I reread it, I will end where the original does.

HER CHARACTERS WERE RICH AND FULLY DEVELOPED,AS WERE THE ACCOMPANYING CHARACTERS.CERTAIN PASSAGES WERE SO DESCRIPTIVE THAT THEY BROUGHT THE READER TO EVERY PINNACLE AND DEPTH ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCES. MS. MCNAUGHT HAS ALWAYS GIVEN US VIVID,WILDLY ROMANTIC,HEART ACHINGLY, BELIEVABLE CHARACTERS AND I'M SURE ANYONE WHO READS HER WILL AGREE. THIS BOOK DESERVES AN FIVE STAR REVIEW, OR BETTER IF POSSIBLE. BUY IT! IT'S A KEEPER.
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: I read Once and Always and I am hooked. I loved the new version of Whitney, My Love. I loved the fact that it is in hardcover. It made me think that I was reading it for the first time. I am so happy that she ended it differently. It couldn't have been a more perfect ending. Readers should diffently read both versions of the book.
Rating: Summary: Best romance I have ever read! Review: This is the romance i compare all other romances to! I loved it
Rating: Summary: This is a Keeper! Review: When I first read this book I loved it. But I thought that the redo took away from the originals appeal. It will always be one of my favorites and I read it at least once a yr. It personifies what romance should be.
Rating: Summary: Kind of disappointing -Raises more questions than it answers Review: I LOVED the original, so as soon as this new book came out, I bought it. However, if you're going to compare it to the mass-market paperback, it's a little disappointing. The biggest changes that I found were those of the physical descriptions of the various locales. The author did not do a good job of updating it. For instance, the gossip character who so clearly was Roddy Carstairs from her other books, should have been renamed "RC". Also, Judith McNaugth has said that she wanted to rewrite this book in order to better explain the actions of Stephen Westmoreland, who has his own book in "Until You". I have gone back and forth between this new hardcover and "Until You" and I have found a lot of inconsistencies between the two stories. Another thing that I found jarring about the story was that the child was born two months' premature. The book doesn't explain how such a premature (for those days!) child could have survived and I see no reason why the author had to do it. So, in conclusion, anyone who has read and loved the original WML may find that this book, while enjoyable, raises more questions and makes the "mistakes" of the first version more jarring. I know that I will most likely be in the minority with this opinion!
Rating: Summary: What a disappointment! Review: After hearing praises of McNaught's work, and several recommendations to start with Whitney, My Love, I expected this would be at least bearable. Instead, I have it as one of the few labeled "BAD" on my personal list. Hard to make it to the end.
Rating: Summary: A keeper that's read over and over again Review: This is one of the very BEST romances out there. This novel has a beautiful and smart heroine, a handsome and tender hero...and most of all a wonderful storyline. The complications just build and build into a huge and frustrating climax, but then...the ending is most satisfyingly happy.
