Rating: Summary: She is the best! Review: Judith McNaught is the best romance writer that I have ever read, this book is her masterpiece. Out of all the books she has written, Whitney My Love is the tenderest, it will make you cry, it will make you laugh, it will make you smile. I couldn't put it down- even after I had read it about 20 times, I still couldn't put it down!
Rating: Summary: Whitney's Courage Review: Wow! This was my first JM novel and I found it absolutely wonderful and intriguing. This page-turner kept me laughing and crying on the same page. McNaught's ability to bring characters alive is remarkable. Whitney went from being the "ugly-duckling" to the beautiful Swan, and still being able to make you know that she had really not changed. Falling in love with Whitney and Clayton had me spinning in circles. This was one of the best novels that I have read and I plan to read many more of Judith McNaught novels. Although I do hope that Nicolas DuVille will find his match in one of them. "Bon Voyage, Che`rie."
Rating: Summary: Whitney My Love - My Opinion Review: I picked WML for my vacation read. It was a good book, kept me interested, not sure if it was out of disgust, infatuation, or interest. Whitney starts out with a personality you just have to love, spirited and feisty. Her father is a moron of a man that doesn't see the treasure he has in this girl. Then she meets Clayton. What a guy... right. Takes me back to what a moron the father is. Everyone goes on about the beating (which wasn't in my version) or the rape. But what about the man that sold her in the first place! What a jerk. But I feel this was the Authors intentions to get our emotions to a boiling point and it worked! And why did Whitney have to turn into a sniveling, whining woman? I would have loved to see her spunk continue as it did in the beginning of the story. I would have loved to see her really pay that man back for violating her body! I did laugh out loud a couple times which is unusual for me and I sighed many times when I felt the romance emit from the pages. All in all I was glad I read it, I found it very entertaining.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Love Story Review: I have now read Whitney My Love twice within a 3 week period. I find it so utterly romantic. It took my breath away. The characters are so real, they practically jump off the pages. I find it the best love story I have ever read. I immediately bought more of Judith McNaughts novels.
Rating: Summary: A Breath of fresh air Review: Ridiculous as it may sound, I compare Whitney, My Love, to Gone with the Wind. Its a beautifully written book that puts all other romance novels to shame. The characters, plentiful and well developed, add a spice to the book that is lacking in many other romances that seem written merely to make money. This book has a detailed, heartwarming plot. Judith McNaught spreads her character's emotions onto the page like icing on a cake, making the reader feel each and every feeling her Characters feel. Through the natural, though unpredictable, actions of her characters, McNaught makes a reader want to scream, throw the book, cry on the pages, laugh, and then two pages later, squeal with excitement. The characterization, increasingly similar to that of a Jane Austin novel, draws a reader into the pages and won't let them escape.Whitney, My Love contains none of the predictability of most similar novels and veers off of the familiar path and plots we see in every other book. The reader actually has time, and incentive, to learn to adore each and every character McNaught has dreamed up. As an avid romance novel reader, I get tired of the repetive story lines and actions in Characters. With Whitney, Judith McNaught gives readers a breath of fresh air. On my shelf, the book sits away from the stank of traditional romance novels, and in a place of honor beside Margaret Mitchell and Kathleen Woodiwiss.
Rating: Summary: Nonstop reading Review: I have just finished reading this book and I could not believe the road you take while reading this book. Whitney and Clayton are both very stuborn and in love, an explosive mixture with an excellent story. I have almost read all of Judith McNaught's book and loved them all.

Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I was first introduced to Judith McNaught's writing style with Kingdom of Dreams and I absolutley fell in love with Royce & Judith Westmoreland. I picked up this book, read the back cover description, recognized the Westmoreland name and finished it in two days ! ! ! What a wonderful read ! ! ! This book is now part of the Historical Romance Library Collection that I started and sits next to Kingdom of Dreams with an empty spot for Until You ! ! ! !
Rating: Summary: Searching for another just like this one! Review: This book was fabulous! I have yet to find another book with this writing style. Judith McNaught writes so descriptively about the beautiful scenery. it is like u are there. I love stories about ugly ducklings and the guy is mesmerized when he finally sees her years later. I also loved how Whitney went to Paris. It is my favorite book next to Kingdom of Dreams. I am still searching for another author who writes like Judith - a real page turner like Judith's books. With beautiful scenery and you are into the book as soon as you read the first few pages. This book and Kingdom of Dreams- I can still remember the stories years later. THE BEST! If anyone out there understands what I am saying and you were lucky enough to find another book or author with this similar storyline (only historical romances) and descriptive scenery, I'd LOVE to here from u: barebones@worldnet.att.net Thanks alot!
