Summary: The Playboy - Even better than the Bachelor!!!!!
Review: I could not wait until this book came out after reading the Bachelor! I got the book in the mail and read it in 2 days. I couldn't put the book down. Although the book is very simple to read, and very predictable, I absoulutely loved it!!! This book gives more details into the Chandler Brothers characters. I cannot wait until the third book comes out!! This is definately a five star rating!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great love story!
Review: I enjoyed this book. It was hard for me to put down. I felt like I knew the characters and couldn't wait to see how thing turned out.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Read it from cover to cover non stop!
Review: I have been looking forward to reading this book since I finished The Bachelor! It came in the mail and I opened it and finished it 12 hours later! It met my high expectations for a sequel: the characters were detailed well, the plot was defined nicely and the situations were believable. I never once stopped and went huh? the booked flowed so smoothly.

We had more bits into the lovable Chandlers of the first book, but they didn't overshadow the new characters and they were easy to keep track of. (Some books are overrun with small part characters and you loose sight of the origianl plot line). The dialogue was believable, the sexual tension was great and Yorkshire Falls seems like a very quaint small town that I wish I could visit. This book has been delayed in its release, but I think the wait was well worth it as this book is solid in structure and content and not hastily thrown together to meet the original release date. The story of the second Chandler brother is entertaining, erotic and sure to please everyone who liked the first installment! My only problem will be passing the time until the third installment is released in August!

Summary: I Do?
Review: I highly recommend this book to anyone who has parents! Don't let the title fool you; Carly Phillips' The Playboy is a great book of humorous romance that many people can relate to. When a desperate mother does whatever it takes to get her sons married with children, she realizes, the best type of love is the type that doesn't involve her matchmaking. When old family friend Kendall Sutton comes to town she accomplishes the impossible; catching the heart of one of the most wanted men in town, Rick Chandler. Once these two set up a deal to go along with until Kendall leaves town everyone in town begins to wonder and gossip out of curiosity and jealousy as to who this new comer is that stole one of the last available Chandler men in town. Kendall and Rick begin to develop uncontrollable emotions for one another and what began as a simple deal may turn into a future together. Only one catch, both Rick and Kendall swore to never wed again after getting their hearts broken once before by the ones they loved. Both ends of the deal are up and the question on everyone's mind is now will the town's sexy playboy propose?
I enjoyed reading this novel a lot for many reasons. Carly Phillips knows how to keep the readers attention by telling you what you need to know without all the useless information. The plot above all is what will keep you reading until the very end. Although it is realistic the plot is exaggerated which keeps every scene interesting. So, in conclusion, I highly recommend this book to anyone because I felt it was the best book I have ever read.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I picked up this book after reading all the rave reviews and I guess it must be me, because I certainly can't say I loved it. The storyline was pretty good and I really liked the characters but had enough of Kendall's constant hashing back and forth as to whether or not she could commit to staying put. That seemed to be a third of the book and it got old really fast.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: I read the story of Rick Chandler in The Playboy prior to reading the story of Roman Chandler in The Bachelor. Although that was backwards, it was ultimately Rick that I fell in love with and hooked me to the stories of the Chandler brothers.

Carly Phillips has you in love with the characters the first moment they are introduced. I just couldn't put the book down because I needed to know what was going to happen next. You will find yourself wishing that the "happily ever after" will work out. The storyline is unpredictible and fun! I am counting down the days for Chase's book, The Heartbreaker, to be released.

Carly Phillips, you've out done yourself in The Bachelor, you did it again in The Playboy and I am just itching to get my hands on The Heartbreaker!

YOU MUST READ THESE BOOKS!

Summary: Worth the wait!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed Carly's first book, The Bachelor, and couldn't wait for The Playboy. Well, she did not let me down! I thought Roman was a dream, but I fell in love with Rick!! I read this book in a day...I couldn't put it down. The only down side now is that I have to wait until August 2003 to get to know The Heartbreaker! I am sure I will not be disappointed.
