Rating: Summary: Awesome book Review: After reading The Bachelor, I was anxious to read more about the Chandler brothers. Carly Phillips never disappoints! The sex is hot, characters are truly believable, and the plot well developed. Rick is a strong, sexy hero and Kendall is a smart, strong heroine(no TSTL heroine here). A fun, light read full of humor.
Rating: Summary: Thoroughly Fun Review: After reading the first book of the Chandler trilogy (The Bachelor), I wasn't expecting much. So much to my surprise that I found myself thoroughly enjoying this encounter with the middle brother.
Both Rick and Kendall are entertaining characters that you can feel their struggles and fears and love. I absolutely loved the antics of Kendall, alone and with her sister, and I felt the struggle as she tried to help her sister, Hannah. Also the couple `living in sin' were really fun and quirky characters.
I found myself zipping through this book, which was a welcome surprise, since I had to force myself a few times to get through the Bachelor.
This is the quirkiest of the trilogy and by far the most enjoyable. A solid 5 out of 5.
Rating: Summary: Left me giggling Review: Again, this was a great love story. It had everything, love, frustration, humor, and of course sex! I will be reading The Heartbreaker next, and when I am done with that one I will be weepy to end the Chandler Brother's trilogy!

Rating: Summary: This Book Did Not disappoint me!! Review: Calry Phillips has done it again!! I loved the Bachelor, and now The Playboy, I loved Kendall and Rick, It is so funny how Rick's Mom is still playing the part that she has a bad heart, she feels perfectly healthy and wants to do stuff but she can't because she would give away that she has been lying. I loved that Roman and Charlotte are in this book. I love the way this story plays out it kept my interest all the way to the end now I can't wait for Heartbreak, I can't wait for Chase story to be told, even though he is mention very little in this book I fall in love with him. Happy Reading Lisa
Rating: Summary: Another Excellent Story Review: Carly Phillips has written yet another great romance story and I had a hard time putting the book down once I started reading. The characters are described with such detail that you can feel their emotions. Carly was excellently skillful in incorporating enough details about the Chandler Family that it's not necessary to read "The Bachelor" first to get the full essence of the trilogy. I look forward to August when "The Heartbreaker" is released.
Rating: Summary: Fun & light reading Review: Hey, I enjoyed it! Rick Chandler is the town's policeman that is good looking, single (married only months before divorced), respected, well liked- just an all around heart throb! In fact every single woman in town is after his buns! ha, ha!!! And he is dodging them right a left. That is until Kendall Sutton drives up in town literally after leaving her own wedding before the "I do's" were said. Rick is called out by 911 to check on her and loses his heart when he arrives. Kendall, who comes from a disfunctional family and has never been in one place very long, finds acceptance and love making it almost impossible to move on. Then comes the complications. It is full of fun and warm fuzzy feelings. Sweet story that keeps you attention- I highly recommend it! Now I am going to have to go back and read Book #1 The Bachelor!
Rating: Summary: Loved it! Review: Hey, this book isn't going to win any Pulitzers but if your looking for a good romance with some great tumbles in the sack you can't go wrong. I liked this book better than Philip's first one, The Bachelor. Can't wait for her next one!
Rating: Summary: Rating the Playboy Review: I absolutely loved this book! I could not put it down. The premise of Kendall, the runaway bride (who by the way is still wearing her wedding gown when she is rescued from her car by a gorgeous law enforcement officer, Rick Chandler) really draws you into the book. They chemistry between the two characters is palpable and you just can't put the book down! The way Kendall settles into living in a small town and nestles in amongst the town's people to make a life for herself and her younger sister is very sweet. And it gets sweeter when she gets together with Rick. He is the most eligible bachelor in town and everybody wants him, but nobody holds a candle to Kendall in that department, not as far as Rick is concerned. The Playboy was the first Carly Phillips novel that I have ever read. After seeing a review for this book in Cosmo, I had to have it. If all of Carly Phillips' books have the same page turning appeal that The Playboy does, then I will be reading every book she writes from now on. After reading this book, I think every woman will want a Rick Chandler of their very own.
