Rating: Summary: The Best Romance EVER!!!(no kidding) Review: I can't say more than what has already been said. I've been a romance reader for about five years (and that's saying a lot since I'm seventeen now) and this is the book that my aunt and Gramma can't pry out of my hot little hands. Jude is one of the true gems of romance and she makes our hearts bleed with an intensity tha can't be matched. Anyhow, check out the review done by Renkoc for Sweet Liar, another jem
Rating: Summary: Never judge a book by its genre Review: I never, never read romance novels. My grandmother has read enough for both of us. So, when my shipment from Amazon.com included a floridly covered book (you know, the Other kind of romance novel cover, sans naked people on the cover) my heart sank. I thought I had ordered a fantasy book about time travel and the Middle Ages(I usually read only science fiction/fantasy). But, with nothing else to do that afternoon, I opened the book and started reading. And didn't stop reading until 3:42am the next morning. And, I am ashamed to admit, I was weeping when at last I closed the book. What a great love story! What a superior, inventive plot! What a well-researched, humerous, and intelligent book! I have learned my lesson and I will be expanding my reading list starting today!
Rating: Summary: The greatest romance ever written Review: I first read this book when it first came out in paperback. I couldn't put it down. I read it so many times the front cover fell off. At the time I was only 16, I almost never cried at the movies and certainly never at a book, but this one made me cry my eyes out (And laugh quite a bit too). I used to store all my books under my bed. When I graduated from high school I went away to basic training and when I came home on leave my mom had cleaned my room and givin all my books away. This was the only book I truly missed (I even cried!!). To this day I am still a dreamer and looking for my "Knight In Shining Armor"
Rating: Summary: Rippin'! Review: Nothing has ever topped this love classic! Many have tried before and more will still try, but nothing will ever turn out like this one. I'm a hooked Jude Deveraux fan, and I practically slip out of the house <I'm only 14, after all> just so I could visit the library and my favourite bookstore to find more books of hers. I have spent a fortune on all the books but not a cent was wasted. 'A knight in shining armour' is a must read and a keeper as is 'Legend' and 'Remembrance'. Nothing can ever make me sell or throw my Jude Deveraux books away. 'A knight in shining armour' will make to cry, laugh and literally change your life. Read more about the fantastic Montgomery family in the other books by the authoress, but remember, REMEMBER, NEVER, to throw the biggest classic in romance stories!!!!!!
Keep reading her books!
Rating: Summary: Romance+Historical=GREAT BOOK! Review: This is an enchanting book that will touch the hearts of all who read it. Absolutely the best Jude Deveraux book yet
Rating: Summary: wonderful romantic book "My favorite!!" Review: This book was so well written it brought you into to the main characters lives. You feel sad and happy right along with them!! Jude D. is a wonderful writer and "Knight in Shining Armour" is her best even though I love the rest too. You will definately fall in love with this book!
Rating: Summary: Heart warming! Review: Jude Deveraux transports the reader with the characters in a journey that proves that love is about giving and taking, about learning and forgiving. "Thank you God" for such a heartwarming story
Rating: Summary: need a good cry? Review: I could not put down this book. The story is of Dougless Montgomery, a young woman who feels like the left out one in her family. She thinks that she doesn't compare to any of her sisters and her goal is to show them up and get engaged.
She agrees to go with this cheap guy named Robert to England because she thinks this will be the trip where I'm going to get engaged. But then she arrives at the airport
and finds that his bratty spoiled daughter is coming too!
Within a few days of arriving in England, thanks to the bratty daughter,
she finds herself stranded by a small church with no money and she didn't want to call herm family for help because it would show them that she couldn't find a man who wanted her
so she starts crying in the chapel and says between sobs to God:
"Help me find my Knight and Shining Armor. Help me find a man who loves me."
Her prayers were answered because a Knight named Nicholas Stafford in shining Armor appears behind her,
This is the one book where I found my self having so much empathy with that I cried in every part she did.
I laughed and cried a dozen times and I know you will too.
Rating: Summary: Ms. Deveraux tells an amazing tale of timeless love. Review: Dougless Montgomery is a "Hopeless" Romantic, searching for her true love in all the proverbial wrong places. When abandoned by her live-in boyfriend and his bratty daughter in the middle of nowhere, she is overcome with a soul-wrenching grief, a hopelessness so powerful she inadvertantly calls forth a real live Knight in Shining Armor in the person of Nicholas Stafford. Dougless and Nicholas will delight and amuse you in their attempt to adjust to two time periods as they work together to find the answer to a mystery before time runs out. Make sure you have plenty of tissue handy for this one
Rating: Summary: It touches your heart, and your sense of romance Review: I have never been so drawn to a book and its characters, i love for them and with them. Everytime i start this book i can't wait to get to the end. Something new touches me everytime. A book not to miss out on
