Review: A friend of mine recommended that I read a Jude Deveraux book, and I chose A Knight in Shining Armor on a Whim. Little did I Know that this book would change the way I look at romance novels from now on.It was the sweetest love story I have ever read(and since then I've read a lot). I literally cried when Douglas lost Nicholas for the first time.All I can say is that I doubt that I will ever read a better book for the rest of my life!

Summary: Creative story but waaaayyyyy to sappy!!
Review: This is the first one i've read of her works. I thought the story was interesting, creative, funny but just not the type of book i'm used to reading. First of all, I like more realistic storylines! Secondly, did Douglass have to cry at absolutely EVERYTHING!!!!??? And I predicted the end of the book within the first few chapters. All in all, the book was interesting enough to read to the end.

Review: After reading some of these reviews, I was disappointed. Some reviewers even quit reading the book before finishing it! This is the best book that I have ever read. I laughed out loud and cried real tears while involved in this story. I cannot recommend this book enough, and I plan on reading it again and again and again.

Summary: Jude Deveraux at her absolute best
Review: This was the first Jude Deveraux book that I read and I read it in two hours straight. I was totally enthralled from then on in and so were all of my friends that read it after me!!! It's about time that Jude Deveraux wrote another book like this - her historical romances set in Medieval times are when she is at her best. Dougless is a 'real' heroine and Nicholas is a 'real' hero. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough on a rainy afternoon

Review: If A Knight In Shining Armor is Jude Deveraux at her best, I was not inspired to read any other books by this author. I found her style of writing to be short and choppy. Although the book was entertaining, I found myself reading it just to finish it. The hero had an interesting personality and the story moved along nicely but I thought the heroine was pathetic. I just think maybe the hype for the book raised my expectations and I found it to be fair reading.
