Summary: Surrender to the overload of temptation!
Review: Lori Foster's maiden release with Brava crackles with the right amount of temptation and warms up with endearing heroines and mouthwatering heroes to up the romantic ante. TOO MUCH TEMPTATION is easily her most accomplished so far - where readers are introduced to her most self-deprecating character, Grace Jenkins falling head over heels for her employer's grandson, Noah Harper right after he found his fiancee dallying with a lover. She protectively defends Noah when Agatha believes that he is the unfaithful one to the commitment and threatens to disinherit him if he does not continue the relationship with the daughter of Agatha's business associate.

Noah could not believe her fierce emotions and smoldering sensuality masked under Grace's strait-laced self. It is all the more beguiling when they striked a deal on having an open affair, satisfying their carnal urges and chemistry. Agatha is outraged by her grandson when his actions will ruin Grace's reputation, yet Grace doesn't mind when she surrenders herself to a sexual awakening....

TOO MUCH TEMPTATION boasts a blazing all-round supporting sub-characters with Ben and Agatha. Yet it is Grace that many romance fans will find enchanting with her courage to pursue Noah. The pitch of the comedy is hysterical; the sex is sizzling with emotions. Foster has outdone herself this time - with the right amount of temptation.

Summary: Where's the story?
Review: The appeal of this author is lost on me. Her writing is better than many I've read but there is absolutely no substance to this story. No depth. No exploration of character beyond sexual attraction. The effort at emotions rings false because lust is always in the way. Her hero is a caveman, albeit a politically correct sensitive one, and the author went overboard emphasizing the heroine's size. I'm amazed this publisher used this book to launch a line of erotic romance - erotic <--now that's a laugh when applied to this book. It's barely simmering. Worth the price? Not on your life. It's category romance, nothing more, and should never have been published in trade paperback form.

Summary: A very tempting story!
Review: "Too Much Temptation" by Lori Foster was a tempting story well worth the read!

A story that had me anxiously flipping through the pages. Loved the storyline, love the characters, but thought the dialogue could have been a little more steamy for a story of this nature.

I am one of the few guys that I know of that enjoys a good romance and take my word for it "Too Much Temptation" is one of those books that did it for me!

Summary: Good modern erotica
Review: Ms. Foster puts together a good story. As modern erotica this book is not only interesting buy well written. It's rare in modern fiction to go with the very old standard of the virgin becoming the unlikely partner of the handsome hunk. Ms. Foster takes it one step further by making the virgin in question (Grace) have a less than super model figure. She views herself as fat and he (Noah) views her as voluptuos and from there their relationship progresses as Noah works on convincing her to see herself as he sees her. As the relationship unfolds the sex is, to say the very least hot. Ms. Foster knows how to keep it interesting without making it tawdry. Here's the only draw back and I think this has to do with rushing the plot more than anything else; there are extraneous plots. These plots are used to establish the relationship between Grace and Noah but they are weak plots and the reader doesn't really care about the majority of the characters involved in them. What would have been more interesting would have been just the development of Noah's and Grace's relationship without the window dressing. Ms. Foster needs to work on her plot catalysts because they are distracting from what is some tantilizing and evocative erotica. This book gets 5 stars from me because I'm very interested in reading other novels by Lori Foster and I think overall the 2 main characters had good to great chemistry. I want to see if Ms. Foster improves her style from book to book and continues to do the unusual with the standard.

Summary: A Great Temptation
Review: I loved this book. Especially the fact that the heroine was not a barbie look alike. Grace is a full figured woman who has a great personality and knows the meaning of love.

Noah and Grace's romance is a rollercoster ride of fun. Ms. Foster is a talented author and this is one book you should not miss from her.

Summary: So Sexy...
Review: This was one entertaining book. Gorgeous hero, humorous scenes, and sex, sex, sex. The best part of this book, though, was the fact that the heroine wasn't physically perfect. I mean, when you read in a romance novel about the beautiful boy and beautiful girl getting together...well...so what? But, the heroine of this book, Grace, was chubby! I do believe that everyone has sex appeal. You just need the right person to notice and bring it out of you and this book hits right on the mark. The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five was because our chubby heroine was verrrrry annoying at times. I mean, come on! Too many scenes where she's a doormat. Too many scenes where she defends the hero, Noah, like a four year old girl defending her daddy. Other than that, I would recommend this book for people who like a little spice with their literature.

Summary: Wow was this hot!
Review: I've read several of Lori Fosters Books and this one is a keeper. Very hot. The characters were realistic. I couldn't put this one down.

Summary: for mature adults only...
Review: ...not because of the steamy [intimate] scenes (which are good) but because the plot promotes that silly "Pretty Woman"-type fantasy: submit ...to a handsome rake, and he will fall in love with you and give you the intimacy you REALLY crave. You'd think that most readers over the age of 18 would know the difference between fantasy and reality. Some do. But plenty don't. Ignore the sexist metamessage, don't scrutinize the plot too closely, and enjoy the hot scenes featuring an "actual size" heroine.

Summary: steamy yes. believable??
Review: First i want to say that the book was good, this is the first book i read by Ms. Foster. and i can't decide wether i want to read more. the scenes are all so vivid, but the book provoked no thought. I didnt get why noah would be so attracted to grace in the first place, and never know it?? well and then throughout the book you know what is going to happen in the end and there are no loops to throw you off. so you go through the whole book knowing more or less whats going to happen and you never get thrown any curve balls. but it was a nice quick read that i DID enjoy. I took it for what it was a fun book that would be perfect beach reading material.
