Summary: Disappointing - a Plus Size flop
Review: Grace had no personality, very one dimensional character. Other than a few good moments and a lot of sex, this book has very little to recommend it. Any plus size woman whose fought the mirror and others impressions would find this book very disappointing. Go watch Bridget Jones, its at least funnier.

Summary: Great book
Review: I enjoyed reading this book; I could not put it down once I started it. Grace knew she was in love with Noah and knew that she could never have him but she was willing to take what he was willing to give her (just sex) and enjoy it. Noah got more than he bargained for when he made an arrangement with Grace. He never expected to fall in love with a woman; he's just trying to be the person his grandmother wants him to be. Well, when Agatha's (his grandmother) well laid plan (Kara) turned out to be a cheater, Noah's puts away Agatha's dreams and starts making his own with his "Amazing Grace". Although Grace has little self confidence, she is a warrior and faithfully defends the man she loves knowing he will never be hers because she just a plain Jane and he's a handsome and wealthy man who can have any woman he wants.

Summary: This book was mediocre at best.
Review: I felt that this book was not very well written at all, I honestly thought that maybe this was the first book the author had ever written! It lacked any sophistication and there was absolutely no build-up or explanation to the characters becoming involved with one another. The sex scenes are okay, but not much else to recommend it really. Save your money and check this book out at the library.

Summary: Great Love Scenes, But Simple Story
Review: This was my first read by Lori Foster and I think she is an awesome love scene writter, but her story line left a little to be disired. I loved her characters, but they weren't fully developed. The story lines could have been much more in depth, and the characters much more complex. The characters and the story had great potential, but it manly focused around the sex. The story is simple and cute. The love scenes are very, very hot and steamy and well wriiten. If you are looking for a light, quick read with lots of sizzle this is the book for you!! Overall I enjoyed the book, because it was a fast read and a new style of writting. I have read another of Lori Foster's books called Never Too Much, and that book was really good. It is about Noah's brother Ben Badwin, and his love story. It is very, very good and more in depth! The grandmother and Grace and Noah all make appearances in this book too, and it is definitly more in depth than this novel. Overall, this is a good book, and I would recomend it for an easy, fun read!

Summary: Lots of sex, but not much else
Review: Too Much Temptation is the story of an overweight, inexperienced sweet young woman who enters into a sexual relationship with a gorgeous, worldly man. This story is very much a traditional romance; Grace Jenkins has been in love with Noah Harper for years and her desire is simply that he will fall in love with her. The antogonist, Noah's grandmother and Grace's boss, does everything she can to keep the two apart. However, she really doesn't provide much conflict to the story. Whatever obstacle is thrown in their path, Grace and Noah navigate with little difficulty.

The book is billed as "A Novel of Erotic Romance," and if you are looking for a straight romance with lots of rather graphic sex, then this book will meet your expectations. But don't expect much more than that.

Summary: downward spiral...
Review: Lori Foster used to be a really good writer. Her sentences were interesting, her characters were emotionally compelling, her sex was steamy, and she had something many romance writers ignore: secondary and tertiary plots! Well, her sex is still steamy, but that's about all I can say for this book, as well as several other new ones from her. I read everything she writes, because I'm a fan, but I suggest getting her newer stuff from the library.

Summary: Too Little Temptation!
Review: I guess that we've given up expecting too much from authors, because this novel is run of the mill yet highly regarded.

There was no build up and no release, it just sort of laid there going thru the motions. It was caricature driven and the "steamy situations" were predictable and therefore anticlimactic in their inevtiability.

This book embodies my pet peeve with the formulaic installment writers that read and write alike time after time. You could write one synopsis that could be applied to nearly everything they've written and that is a terrible syndrome.

Summary: Not so hot....
Review: If you really want to read something with steam, get BEYOND SEDUCTION by Emma Holly and if you want to read some scalding literature get OLDE HOLLYWOOD by Thorne Peters. This book was fairly hot, but, forgive me for saying this, the writing was very elementary and not compelling.

Summary: low key sexy romance
Review: This book was pretty much what I was expecting - enough of a plot to hold it together as a story and make us care a little about the characters, and a fair amount of sex. Similar to her other novels, the female is a virgin and the male has a perpetual [erection]. But it's a fun little read. There was an attempt made at suspense by withholding the extra lover's identity. This wasn't suspenseful, but it was so worthless to the overall story that it also didn't annoy me that much.

What was a little annoying were some word editing errors. ...

This is not a great book, but is is a decent read. The sex is reasonable, if mostly standard, and nothing in what there is of the plot interrupts the enjoyment of the sex, even the fake suspense. There isn't much more than the sex, and you don't have to wait and wait for it. If that's what you're looking for, you'll like this. If you want a lot of character development, plot twists, etc... find another author.

Summary: A terrific, fun and very sexy read!
Review: I had such fun reading this book! Grace was so adorable! She's the proverbial "everywoman". Who hasn't felt insecure about their looks or fantasized about being with that one guy that you figure is just too perfect and unattainable? And as another reviewer pointed out, because this is fiction, Grace gets her man. And what a man! Noah was so sexy, seemingly insatiable and just a bit dangerous. I loved the scene where Noah tries to beat up a guy who hit on Grace with Grace hanging around his neck trying to stop him - only to have Grace end up punching the guy in the nose!

Grace was so terrific. She had a strength of character that was admirable. Though there were plenty of times she could have cried or wallowed in self-pity, instead she was strong and resilient and I really respected her. Noah was so protective of her it was really cute. He acted like she would break, but time after time she proved how strong she was. Her only weakness was Noah. She was willing to take anything she could get from him and if that meant only sex, well that would be enough. It does not occur to her to want or expect more. But when Noah does, the hardest part is convincing Grace!

A really great couple and story. Fun!
