Summary: Best book to date!
Review: Kensington couldn't have chosen a better author, or a better book, for their first contemporary Brava. TOO MUCH TEMPTATION proves that an author can create a truly erotic story without relying on artificial props, extra partners or half the positions in the Kama Sutra, while maintaining a thoroughly satisfying romance. For all its earthy sensuality, TOO MUCH TEMPTATION stands out not because of an abundance of sexual scenarios, but because of its complex, realistic characters and Ms. Foster's ability to make the ordinary extraordinary. Grace is no raging beauty, possesses no super genius intellect, nor other outstanding talents, and yet she shines, commanding Noah's complete attention. The reader understands his utter fascination with her and believes. And it's that fascination with Grace, not his handsome looks or carnal nature, that makes Noah such a wonderful hero. For he doesn't love Grace in spite of her size, choosing to overlook or forgive her for it, while secretly wishing she'd drop a few sizes. His attitude demonstrates that weight does not define or limit attraction and sexuality, a truth which average or overweight people will appreciate. By publishing the smart, warm, laugh-out-loud funny (and, oh yeah, incredibly hot *g*), TOO MUCH TEMPTATION, Kensington has taken a step that will surely lead the Brava line, and Ms. Foster, straight to the top.

Summary: The best ever!
Review: Lori Foster is a great writer but this is definitely her best yet. The hero and heroine are lovable, sexy and very likable. I've read a lot of romances but this is now my absolutely favorite. You won't regret reading this story.

Summary: Too little temptation
Review: First off, I want to say that I thoroughly enjoy Lori Foster's books. She offers an intriguing blend of humor and sensuality. But I was slightly disappointed by this novel. As much as I enjoyed Noah, ok, lusted after him, I thought his sudden desire for Grace was too sudden. It made me wonder why he waited so long to act on it, considering he can't control himself once he gives in. (There are no passing thoughts of Grace in Noah's mind before she comes on the scene.) Secondly, I had trouble with his grandmother's unwillingness to believe in him. She trusts him with the millions of dollars their company makes, but continuely harasses him for breaking off his engagement. Although she knows he's everything his weak father wasn't, she automatically blames him for the break-up. The love scenes were pretty steamy, but I could have used more plot development. Maybe a little embezzling or blackmail would have perked things up. I will definitely buy Ben's story, but I hope it's more tempting than Noah's.

Summary: A new all-time fave!
Review: Too Much Temptation is a delightful treat for any reader! With strong, yet realistic, chracters, Ms. Foster creates a story that will stay with you for a long time!

Kudos to the author for featuring a heroine who isn't exactly model thin, yet is still enjoys her sexuality and is appreciated as is by the hero! Noah doesn't let what Grace perceives as her own plumpness to stand in the way of their mutual pleasure, a refreshing attitude in men today. A very sexy and fun love story that you will enjoy re-reading time and again!

Ms. Foster writes also men very well, which makes the interaction between Noah and his brother Ben enjoyable and realistic (and makes you look forward to Ben's story later this year!). A definite keeper and highly recommended by this long-time romance reader!

Summary: Definitely Lori's best I've read, to date...
Review: The last thing Noah Harper expects to find is his fiancée in bed with another man. He can't seem to get angry about it; instead he feels only relief. Because Noah and Kara's families have a history together and his grandmother adores Kara, Noah takes the blame for calling off the wedding so that Kara won't suffer through a scandal. Now Noah decides all he wants is a hot and heavy affair with some woman, any woman, to make up for the less than hot times he ever had in Kara's bed. And this woman must play by all of his rules, at least in the bedroom.

Grace Jenkins is Noah's grandmother's personal assistant and has been half in love with Noah for three years. Hardly experienced with men, and possessing a less than favorable opinion about her full-figured looks, Grace can't believe it when Noah proposes they carry on an affair after he breaks up with his fiancée. Grace, however, just can't say no to the man she's pined for all this time. Noah also makes her feel incredibly sexy and beautiful.

What follows is a story that has it all! Lori Foster shines as she breathes incredible and realistic life into Noah, Grace, and all of the secondary characters. Everyone has an integral part in the storyline, from Noah's ditzy former fiancée to his sarcastically funny and adorable brother, Ben. And the grandmother? Well, she just wants what's best (or what she thinks is best) for her grandson and isn't beyond a bit of manipulation in order to get it. Conflict and humor abound among all, but I most connected and sympathized with Grace. Grace is a "real" woman, inside and out, in my opinion. She only lets Noah THINK he's the boss, which leads to some hysterically funny and poignant scenes.

TOO MUCH TEMPTATION is a delicious story about two people who are so opposite from each other, they're just perfect together. Lori Foster is a master at delivering smart, sensuous, snappy dialogue and intense emotion when the readers -- and the characters -- least expect it. Ms. Foster yet again proves herself as one of the romance industry's most beloved authors with this insightful, explicitly sexy, yet highly emotional and poignant tale.

TOO MUCH TEMPTATION is a definite candidate for keeper shelves everywhere. It goes right to the top of my list of best reads for 2002.

Summary: WONDERFUL
Review: - I absolutely loved this story. Grace is a shy and curvy woman. She doesn't have any experience with men and a slightly unhappy self image. During a drunken night after canelling his engagement to another woman, Noah sees Grace as more than he has in the past. Noah ends up falling and falling fast, finding Grace to be one of the best things in life.
- This story is very steamy and I believe one of Lori's best.
- I love this book so much it is still on my shelves after all this time.

Summary: Wonderful romantic escape
Review: I truly loved this book. I felt that the characters were interesting and fun. Noah and Grace held my interest and made me want to believe in their romance. I have always loved Lori Foster's books but this is one of my favorite. Maybe that is because Grace was real not some dropdead beauty. This was a fun book and I look forward to more like it.

Summary: "Too Much" Indeed !
Review: Lori Foster is as reliable as the sunrise for a steamy romance and "Too Much Temptation" is certainly no exception.

This book was wonderful from the first page to the last. Noah and Grace are such likable characters, you'd need a heart of stone not to root for them to fall in love. Grace, as the quiet, untouched beauty is the perfect contrast for modern, experienced Noah. She's loved him from afar (aaahhh) and Noah -of course- had no clue. Watching as Noah shows Grace (shy, virginal and way too low on self esteem) the woman she is inside, is fantastic. Grace thinks a few extra pounds should put him off, but it only makes Noah love every inch even more.

The fact the Grace works for Noah's cranky, cantankerous and filthy rich Grandmother has kept her around Noah for years, but that does'nt stop our heroine from sacrificing that much needed job in order to stick up for him to the older woman when she gets her feathers ruffled. The results will have you chuckling with humor and sighing as Noah realizes that now that his eyes have been opened, he can never let Grace go.

Lori Foster is a master at weaving characters throughout various titles, so look to follow "Too Much Temptation" up with "Never Too Much" where you'll meet Noah's brother Ben, and watch him also suffer the pains of falling in love. And you'll get to catch up with Noah and Grace. Two great titles...one great author.

Summary: Great Brain Twinkie
Review: Unlike the reviewers that gave this book 1-2 stars I don't expect my romance novels to be completely plausible. HELLO!! That's why it's called a romance novel. Its not real life, if it was it wouldn't sell. I really liked Noah and the way he found his heart in this book. He started out thinking he knew what he wanted then learned he wanted something else all along. If thats not romance I don't know what is. As for Grace I think her self-esteem was totally realistic because I don't know one woman who has a realistic view of her body. For someone to say that a woman spending the first half of a novel with esteem issues is ridiculous is ridiculous itself because most women spend most of their lives with esteem issues. This is a great book to escape the humdrum of everyday relationships. Noah spends the book talking about Grace's body in a way most women wish their husbands would. Especially after popping out 3 kids and the sleepless nights of a modern lifestyle. The men of the world could take a few lessons about making women of any size feel desirable. They might get a little more if they did. As for Grace I loved her, she was self-less with Noah in a way that I could only wish to attain. She was satisfied with what Noah was willing to give and that is something we could all take as a lesson about happiness in relationships.
