Rating: Summary: I Loved It Review: I have enjoyed many of this author's previous books, but was shockingly disappointed by the inconsistencies in Out of the Blue. Where was her editor on this one? The back cover said Danny was murdered, but he survived. Why were the kids getting out of school for the snowstorm between Christmas and New Year's? Weren't they on Christmas break? Why was her ex-husband broke? If he was so instrumental in building her career, why didn't he get half in the divorce settlement? The rest of the book wasn't interesting enough make up for these problems. I hope the third in this trilogy proves to be better than the second.

Rating: Summary: My last ROSS book! Review: I have had it with this Nora Roberts wantabe! Her books are not worth reading anymore, the plots are unbelievable and boring, and the dialogue puts me to sleep!
Rating: Summary: Fast-paced and full of suspense Review: I liked the flashbacks and gradual exposing of the past relationship between Lark and Lucas. This book started off with a bang and kept me interested all the way through the last twist of the plot. Reminded me of Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb books.
Rating: Summary: The story had potential but . . Review: I, too, was extremely disappointed in this book. I expected better by JoAnn! I totally agree with the reviewer named "Cash." That review pretty much mirrors what I have to say about it. Nuff Said!

Rating: Summary: Fans will enjoy this second chance at love thriller Review: In New Orleans, someone shoots band member Danny Murphy when he and lead singer Lark Stewart were going to a club. As Danny nears death, Lark's Aunt Zelda calls former FBI sharpshooter Lucas McCloud from the middle of nowhere to tell him Lark is in danger and needs his help. Used to hearing the witchery of Zelda, Luke travels from their hometown of Highland Falls, North Carolina to protect the woman he loves, but left behind years ago.Lark realizes that she still loves Luke and would prefer he not be here, but heeds his advice especially when he mentions that her stalker Dr. William Quest escaped jail. The assumption made by Luke and the police is that Quest saw Lark with her close friend Danny so he tried to kill him as the deranged man believes that the singer is his wife. As Luke protects Lark from the psychopath Quest and from her angry ex husband Cody, their love blossoms. However, she expects he will leave once she is safe and so fears giving him her heart again. Though the final twist may seem OUT OF THE BLUE, readers will enjoy this second chance at love romantic suspense thriller. The story line is action-packed but driven by Lark who courageously contends in differing ways with the five men impacting her life. Fans will appreciate the middle book of the Stewart sisters' trilogy (see OUT OF THE MIST for the first novel). Harriet Klausner

Rating: Summary: The story had potential but . . Review: It was written in such a disjointed manner that it really lacked the impact it could have had. The main characters have great potential but the story just didn't hold together. My biggest problem was that the background on the main characters and the dastardly villian who is after them was so poorly described that I found myself saying, "WHAT? Wait a minute, that doesn't make sense." I quickly found myself losing interest in these people when I couldn't even understand their history. Other annoying moments included when one character mentions, " so and so just told me . . . " but,you guessed it, the story never indicated that conversation had happened! A convincing and enjoyable story is all in the details for me. This writer needs a better editor.
