Rating: Summary: PASSION - PASSION - PASSION / GREAT ENDURING LOVE Review: I love all of her books. The Skye series has been a family member for me. I have been reading Ms. Smalls since 1973. I can't get enough of her books, soon enough. This is a person who understands the different types of simmering passion in the various female personality types. I can't wait until you start the continual adventures of Skye's niece. Name escapes me at the moment. But she was the focal point of your last novel with Skye. Need to make one of these great novels a mini-drama on PBS soon soon soon..
Rating: Summary: WHAT A BOOK! Review: I read and re-read this book several times-- A wonderful adventure with plenty of romance! I would recommend this book-- and the other books by B Small- to anyone who really wants to curl up with a good book!
Rating: Summary: not a complete waist of time. Review: I read Skye O'Malley. I was so involved and so there that I order all the Skye O'Malley series. When part 2 "all the sweet tomorrows" came in, I couldn't wait for the kids to go to bed so I can read. By the second night, I was so upset of how things turned out I was looking for reasons not to read it. I found this book emotional but unrealistic. Even in fantasy world where I like to escape to. Noone can love that many men. Come on, 6 husbands. And feel love for all of them. I thought that Niall was the most wonderful male character of all time. I really wanted the opposite to happen. Don't get me wrong I liked Adam as well. But if a man I was involved with called me "little girl" it wouldn't be a turn on.

Rating: Summary: great book ... some oddities Review: I truly love this book, it was entertaining and well written. Adam is my favorite Male in the Skye O'Malley series. Im glad Skye ends up with him. I did not like the fact that it is never explored reguarding Nialls poisoning, I assumed the red head princesses slave who gave Niall the jellies did it. Knowing Skye you'd think she would figure it out and get her revenge. That was odd to me. Skyes "hohum" attitude to her rape by Navarre was also strange. The end did make me cry a little and smile. Skye was strong, smart and not above using her charms to get what she needed. I like her shrewd but not bitchy attitude. The sex scenes were well done, the ones with Kedar were articulary kinky and hot. I loved them especially but I can see how that might be to vulgar for some readers.
Rating: Summary: This is the book that made me stop reading the series... Review: I was very into the first Skye O'Malley novel, and I couldn't wait to read the next one. Well I read this and I was so upset. I cried so much! I don't want to give away anything with this book, but I was so incredibly disappointed with the direction Skye's life (who she ends up with) took that I just decided to stop reading the series. I loved Niall and I loved Skye with Niall. That's all I can say. I can't express the way I felt when I read this book. I don't even think I finished reading this book after the "major part". I just knew what was going to happen and I knew I was going to hate it. I know this review is very discombobulated, but it's very difficult for me to write about this book without giving anything away (I hate when other reviewers do that). Still, I give this book three stars because of Bertrice Small's ability to move me to the point of hysterical tears. I also had to write her a letter because I was so upset. Oh, well.
Rating: Summary: excellant, Small really takes you away with Skye Review: If you love historical romance you must read the whold Skye Omalley saga. I stumbled upon it and after one book ran out a bought all of Miss Smalls other books. You will too!!! Full of romance and historical knowledge of old england around the time of Queen Bess.
Rating: Summary: Poor Skye Review: Like all of Ms. Small's books in this series, this one is a winner! Skye never ceases to amaze me. This woman would make a great friend, or a fierce enemy! She battled two queens and still came out a winner. If you like any of Ms. Small's books, you will surely like this one also.

Rating: Summary: Lovely Sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: Skye O'Malley is a pawn in the bitter war between England's Queen Elizabeth, and Mary, Queen of Scots. Once again, unprotected and alone, she must fight for her children. At the command of Queen Elizabeth, Skye marries the cruel Duc de Beaumont de Jaspre. Although her new life is horrid at first, Skye transforms it with her hot-blooded desires--only to be shaken with the news that her beloved former husband may be alive in Algiers. Her daring flight into eroticism and danger leads her ultimately to her heart's true destiny--as bold and sensual as Skye herself. She is a woman born to be loved by men, yet too proud and incomparable to answer to anything but the call of her own passionate soul.
