Rating: Summary: A Great Innocent Romance Review: This is the first book I have read outside of my favorite author!(J.G.)I really enjoyed this one,in one and a half days I was finished.I hope to read another.
Rating: Summary: An enjoyable read Review: Although this book is a wonderful romance, it keeps trying to throw in all the previous Mallory characters. This keeps Derek's and Kelsey's relationship from developing on its own, without help from other Mallory family members. Although I enjoyed this romance, it just makes me want to read Jeremys's. (Am I the only one, but does Percy deserve a story of his own?--I think so--He's an interesting character, and I think there's a mystery about him.)
Rating: Summary: My introduction to the Malory clan Review: "Say You Love Me" was the first Malory novel I read, and it thoroughly captivated me. Derek and Kelsey are a wonderful, fascinating couple. The appearances by other Malorys intrigued me, even without the complete backstories, and I've since collected every other Malory novel. Yet even without having read the others, I was able to fall in love with Derek and cheer Kelsey along. I highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: What is the sequence? Review: I am listening to an abridged tape and am confused by all the characters mentioned from previous Mallory books. I would like to know the title and sequence of the Mallory series so I can start from the beginning. It would enhance the stories to know who belongs with whom and do any of the books contain a geneology chart? Maybe it is the abridgment that makes it confusing. Overall I am enjoying the stories.
Rating: Summary: Not up to Par Review: I enjoyed this book insomuch as it didn't put me to sleep right away. I love the Malory series and Johanna Lindsey but this book lacked the spark the other's had. Kelsey was lacking spirit, although she was not as bad as Derek, who, while being a thoroughly attractive character is unfortunately always in comparison with Jeremy. Derek loses. I continue to hold my faith for the next Malory novel, however, and hope to see Jeremy very soon.
Rating: Summary: Say you love me Review: At first I had bought the audio tape and love it and then I bought the book because the book has more detail. After buying the book I realized that I had read another Malory book (Gentle Rough) and now I have bought the whole set and very soon I will read all of them, even the new book Present.
Rating: Summary: Not the greatest Malory novel Review: I like this book, primarily because it featured all the Malories I came to know and love. As for the featured love story, between Kelsey and Derek, I was not impressed. I like Derek but it is unfortunate that he is always paired up with Jeremy, who is the perfect hero. I always care more about Jeremy than Derek. I guess the author intended for them to have the chemistry that exists between James and Anthony whenever they get together, but thier relationship is impossible to replicate and Derek is more boring than Anthony. Kelsey is a very average heroine. I had nothing against her except that I couldn't care less about her. She and Roslynn have the most colorless personalities. For the first time when reading a Malory novel, I couldn't wait until the main characters got involved with the rest of the Malories. I can't say that I am disappointed, after all Jeremy was featured prominantly in this book, but I expected more. I just hope Ms. Lindsey can find a worthy heroine for Jeremy.
Rating: Summary: Say You Love Me Review: I thought the book was good, not great, but good. I have loved Derek ever since he grabbed Georgie outside the tavern and mistook her for a "tavern wench", and I was glad he finally got a story. I think my favorite part was the connection between Derek and his uncles (who make ALL of Mallory books as wonderful as they are). I enjoy the Mallory books, it really doesn't matter if it is good or not, I just enjoy reading what happens to them next (but like I said, James and Tony are the very best).
Rating: Summary: Say You Love Me Review: I really like most of Lindseys books but this one did not "grab you" and take you away like all the others. I did NOT like this book, I think it kept referring to all the previouse books in the series of Malory stories. If you are an avid Lindsey fan you will have read all the previouse books and know what is going on. All the back referance really took away from Derek and Kelsey. Maybe in her next Malory book she will focus on the main characters instead of trying to fit all of them into one book! In short this book really lacked her usual style and pazazz! :(
Rating: Summary: Malory after all... Review: I couldn't agree with the 5 star rate, but it was an entertaining book. Kelsey was sweet but naive, the villain was too hardcore and a little too much, I didn't like the hunchback at all. But Derek was great and there was Anthony to keep the interest going. It took JL a lot of imagination and it was hard to anticipate the next thing in the book.
