Summary: Read on a flight!!! Great
Review: As my plane taxied to the runway, the passenger next to me said "Mirror Image"was her favorite book. She warned me that reading it on the plane would be a bit scary, since the book starts out with plane crash. No biggie for me though, as if fate had the plane go down...so be it.

I had to agree with her. The book was one of the best I have ever read.

I highly recommend this book!!!

Summary: One of Sandra Brown's Best Books
Review: As someone who owns virtually every book Sandra Brown has written, this is one of my favorites. The characters are interesting and the suspense intriguing. The heroine is unique because she is not waiting for someone to rescue her. She is the one trying to prevent the tragedy. And, there is still plenty of romance. I would HIGHLY recommend this book.

Summary: Enough plot to keep me interested....
Review: but not enough substance for it to be rated high in my book. This book, in my opinion, could have been cut in half. The basic plot is about two women who get mixed up after a plane crash, because they had traded seats, and the one to live was mistaken for the other simply because she was carrying the other woman's daughter. The survivor goes through plastic surgery to repair her disfigured face, and comes out looking just like the other woman. The rest of the story is about how the survivor then takes on the life of the other so that she can save the husband (a political candidate) from being killed.

That is the basic story. Throw in between are bits of political campaign, relationship wars in a family pulled apart, and lots of other "stuff" I just found myself skimming through to get to the point of the story.

Brown has matured in her writing, and I've found this book, like many of her earlier ones, to not fit today's standards. There are a lot of better books coming out there today (look up books from Oprah's Book Club), and I felt like I was wasting my time on this one. I only read it because a friend gave it to me, and I was very glad when it was done so I could give it back!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intense, well developed plot, keeps you guessing.
Review: Catches your interest almost immediately. Several themes woven into the plot, good character development that gets you involved with each phase of the story. Believable, even though you want to think these things can't happen in our world today.

Summary: Another Winner
Review: Few novels put forth by Sandra Brown have received a less than perfect rating from me, and this novel is no different. This is not my all time favorite novel of hers, though I must say I was very intrigued.

This is the tale of a plane crash that takes the lives of many. Though Avery Daniels survives the crash, her face is so mutilated she cannot be identified other than by the child she held in her arms... who isn't her own. Avery Daniels is misidentified as Mrs. Carole Rutledge, wife to the high powered political figure Tate Rutledge who is running for Mayor.

This story tells the sorted affairs of both parties including the late (and misidentified) Carole Rutledge. This is a novel of suspense, mystery and romance. As long as you are willing to suspend disbelief a bit, this novel will not let you down.

Sandra Brown has done it again! Don't let this one slip past you!

Summary: Could not put it down!
Review: First Sandra Brown book I ever read...and probably my favorite. Tate is incredibly sexy, Avery is smart and savy, and their story blew me away. Anyone who hasn't read this should throw down what they are doing, and get a copy and read it. IT IS SO WORTH IT!!! I'll never be able to think about politics the same way!

Summary: Amazing!
Review: I am picky about the books I like. Mirror Image simply enticed me. It was prefect! Great book!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: perfect Sandra Brown
Review: I began reading Sandra Brown's more current books. When I exhausted those I bit my tongue and started reading her "older" writings, listed as romance novels. I am not a romance fan. But I got so hooked on Sandra Brown that I HAD to read more. I am never disappointed. Mirror Image has to be among the top few I've read. It has it all. Intrigue, mystery, great plot, and yes even romance. Keep them coming Sandra!

Summary: Wow, her best book!
Review: I began reading this book as I was taking off in an airplane! The book immediately grabbed my full attention. I still feel that it is one of the best books that I have ever read. If you have enjoyed Sandra Brown in the past you will really like this book
