Review: My best friend loaned me the book. When I picked it up there was no stopping. There will never be characters like Jamie and Alec. The books is a feel good book. If your down pick it up you won't be for long. After I finished the book I had to by my own copy so I could read it when ever I wanted. I've loaned to three other friends who said they had trouble putting the book down also.

Review: I was so surprised with this book. It was my first Julie Garwood and I was a little apprehensive when I picked it up, but I am here to tell you, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ! I absolutely loved it!!! Jamie is so cute and Alec, well he is what I call a real man! This book made me laugh and had me totally enveloped in it. I also really liked the way it had a mystery written in to the story. I will definitely pick up another one from Ms. Garwood.

Review: "The Bride" is the first novel I have read by Julie Garwood. It is a wonderful, romantic adventure story featuring a strong, courageous heroine by the name of Jamie. Jamie is a delight from the beginning. Her love, Alec, is strong, fearless and an absolute sweetheart. I fell in love with Ms. Garwood's description of the Scottish Highlands. I also enjoyed the author's wonderful sense of humour which is evident in the dialog between her very colorful characters. This is a must read for those who like adventure, romance and strong female heroines!

Review: This was a really good book and I totally enjoyed reading it. I think it should get like some really awesome award or something. I just love the way that Garwood writes her romances because she puts so much humor and laughter into it that you aren't just reading behind the scenes, you feel like you are actally there with them feeling what they are feeling as they go through their problems and you just can't put the book down because it is so exciting and funny. And Jamie and Alec totally captivated my heart. They were such a cute couple and I loved Jamie's sense of direction even though she didn't have any. So...pick this book up and you won't be able to put it down until you have finished reading the whole book!

Review: This book was the first novel romance book I read. I could not read this book fast enough. When I finished her book, I immediately went out and picked up ALL of her books I could find. You can't help but get wrapped up in the characters. This is a true "must read" book.

Review: I don't know how to describe this book. Everytime I read it I always have this sweet feeling inside me whenever I think of Alec and Jamie. Despite his big size, he still knows how to treat a lady, and most of all how to love one. This book of Julie Garwood is so far the best from all the books I have read, in fact The Bride was the first novel I have read from her collection and I still love it 'till now. Whenever I feel lonely , I only have to grab the book and feel good right away

Review: This was the first romance novel I ever read. (Way back when) I wish all the others I have read had been this good, or even half as good. Garwood is my favorite author and this is a book I pick up and read often. If I ever find Alec in person, I won't tell a soul, he's all mine! Everyone should read this book. You will laugh you will cry and you will feel good about living! Don't loan it to your friends, they won't give it back. Thanks Julie, and how about another one from the Highlands?
