Summary: Never disappoints
Review: Okay, so I was waiting for months for this book to come out. I got a little psycho-obsessive at the end of September and was hounding the helpful Barnes and Noble employees until the book finally came out -- hey, sometimes they get things early! =)

I was pleased to find that this book didn't disappoint. Sarah is most definitely my favorite chick-lit author, and this may be her best book so far. You can tell she's definitely progressed as a writer and has total and tight control over her plot and dialogue.

Soo funny, so smart, and a must have! Now how many more days until her YAs come out? Hmmm...

Summary: A hilarious take on the current reality tv trend
Review: Reality-tv fanatics & fans of Ms. Mlynowski, THIS is the book for you! I can't decide which book by Sarah Mlynowski is my favorite because all of them are brilliantly written and tremendously funny. As Seen on TV is no exception. It's witty and clever in its jabs at the current phenomenon of reality tv and instant celebrity. This novel is centered around a woman named Sunny who moves to New York and takes a job on the reality series Party Girls! because she's unemployed & thought it would be a good fill-in job with nice perks. At first the gig is just something to pass the time, but once the series takes off & fame sets in suddenly Sunny believes her new career path is set and she wants to be a full-time celeb. You'll devour this book and eagerly read about what happens when an average 25yr old becomes the toast of television & has a brush with fame.

Summary: Excellent! Funny, fast-paced look at reality TV
Review: Sarah Mlynowski's third novel, "As Seen On TV," deals with the life of Sunny Langstein who left her job and her life in Florida to move in with her boyfriend, Steve in New York City. There, she met up with her father's new fling, Carrie, who was Sunny's camp counselor. Unemployed, Sunny was "recruited" by Carrie to appear on a new reality show called "Party Girls." Every week, four girls in "Party Girls" would go to a different bar, to meet up guys and get drunk.

However, in order to participate in the show, Sunny had to pretend that she is single. Which means, she can't tell people about Steve, can't go out with him in public, etc. Sunny, who was doubtful in the beginning, was soon caught in the world of glitz, glamour, and tons of free stuff. She started to take herself a lot more seriously and her relationship with Steve took a setback. Especially, when hot TV star, Matt started paying attention to Sunny.

I really enjoy "As Seen On TV." It is written very well, and is very funny and fast-paced. Mlynowski is definitely one of my favorite chick-lit authors. Her supporting characters are extremely well-developed too. Mlynowski is able to make her characters seem real and readers are able to identify with them. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants relaxing and funny read.

Summary: As Seen on TV a HIT
Review: This book brought out so many emotions in me. Anger, sorrow, humour, delight.

It is a must read book for anyone who wants to know what REALLY goes on in reality TV.

I found I could relate to the charater of Sunny and felt like I was reading about myself at times. She is a very human character and you will soon feel like you are best friends.

I was sad to finish this book. I wanted to know what happened to her next.

Summary: Good Read
Review: This book fits so well with the millions of different reality shows that are out there! You love Sunny immediately and I very much related to her millions-of-thoughts-a-minute! The characters that surround Sunny are impressive (Sarah covered all boundries- supportive sister, a lush, a closet ..., and an amazing boyfriend to name a few!)

I really enjoyed the book, I didn't want to put it down to go to work or school! I love how Sarah likes to push herself to think outside the box, I don't know anyone else who's written about reality tv. I'll definately be passing my copy along to some friends!

Summary: So So...
Review: This book is not that good. But, her other books were very, very good! "Milk Run" was the funniest book I have ever read! I loved it. She is a great writter. Don't miss the other two if you haven't already read them. Especially milk Run. It was sooooo funny.
This one.....eh, not that great.

Summary: Not Great
Review: This book wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. What's with neurotic women? I want to do this but I should do this but maybe I want to do this, I don't know, what do you think? This line of thinking is VERY annoying. Plus the plot got stupid halfway in when they changed the show from a reality show to a reality competition. That's when it lost my attention. And Steve's character wasn't well devloped. I'd say the neurotic woman was the most annoying point in this whole book. I would not recommend this to friends!

Summary: Great for a quick read!!
Review: This was a great book that made me laugh out loud in certain parts.

It really took a stab at the current reality TV craze that's racing through the country right now.

Great book!
