Review: Hockey player John Kowalsky only plans to leave his boss's boring wedding, not run away with the bride. But run away he does with beautiful, ditzy Georgeanne Howard. After a night of passion the two part ways never expecting to see eachother again.Now seven years later they run into eachother again, both much more mature and Georgeanne with a six year old daughter whose father is none other than John. John is determined to stay in his daughter's life and get to know the little girl. He's also just as determined to stay as far away from the mother as possible. But things are not as easy as they seem.... John and Georgeanne are unable to deny the attraction that brought them together seven years earlier, nor are they able to deny it now. Could they start fresh? Rachel Gibson has written a fun and lively romance with characters that are unique. I give this romance two thumbs up.

Review: Hurrah for Rachel Gibson! I now have an author who has a fighting chance against Lavyrle Spencer! I will honestly say that this book is my new ALL TIME FAVORITE! John "The Wall" and Georgeanne are great characters. And I never thought Id have any interest in hockey but I truly wonder about all that "physical" activity now that I have read this book. If you know what I mean :>)... I love the sensuality of this book and recomment you buy all three of her books! They are all excellent and will make you laugh out loud! What else can I say? Except youd be foolish not to read her books!

Summary: Simply Irresistible
Review: Georgeanne Howard, a southern gal, leaves her fiance at the altar and John Kowalsky unknowingly helps her escape. He later finds out that she is his boss supposed-to-be bride. Even so, he couldn't help to feel attracted towards her and they have a one night of love. He leaves her at the airport the next day, leaving her with a broken heart. Seven years later, they meet again and John finds out their one night stand has resulted in a daughter. Now, 35 year old John who has thinking about having a family of his own, is trying everything he knows to be part of his daughter life. I loved this books so much...spent 4 hours reading it and got hooked with all the great characters. It was delighful and entertaining. My favorite part would be the one where John played Barbie with Lexie, his daughter. It was so sweet.

Summary: I can't believe this is Rachel Gibson's debut novel...
Review: Because "Simply Irresistible" has to be one of the better romance novels I read... even compared to some of the veterans romance writers. She might have written about flawed heroines and heros... but these characters have great chemistry (lotsa zing!) and they create some amazing plots! Geogeanne Howard might be flighty and fickle but she is a great heroine, nonetheless! Overcoming her faults and becoming a successful businesswoman is a fantastic victory! And John Kowalsky's relationship with his daughter was so sweet and cute, I just wanted to read more about them! The part where he was playing barbie with her was the best! (You just have to read it...) And Lexie is the most BELIEVABLE little girl ever written in a romance novel! She is just a doll! The story of Georgeanne and John might not be the most ideal but they overcome some very interesting obstacles to finally come together! This is such a good book! I HIGHLY recommend it!

Summary: Good Book!
Review: I started this book in the month of August and didn't pick it up again until December because i was too busy to read it. Had this book been _extremely_ wonderful I don't think I would have been able to do that. The ending is totally predictable and I found myself already knowing the scenes before they happened. Despite that, I thought the book was great. I liked the character of Lexie the little girl, and I also loved the relationship between John and Lexie. Certain elements took me completely by suprise as well. Rachel Gibson is an excellent author! Can't wait for her next book!

Review: It is deee-lightful! John "The Wall" Kowalsky is a professional hockey player. He is to die for, ladies. Mmmmmm! He and Georgie are one hot item. Additionally, the story is emotional, funny, sexy, and very satisfying. What more could you want? Did I mention "The Wall" Kowalsky is HOT? Yes, well...it's worth repeating!

Review: i absolutely loved this book..not only was it funny but it mixed my fave sport hockey in it. as soon as i started this book, i had a hard time putting it down. i LOVED THIS BOOK! rachel gibson has won me over as one of my fave authors . after reading this i found truly, madly yours. that book was just as awesome as this one...i have read the reviews of others..and have also read books by SEP..i just have to say i found rachel gibson much more exciting and funny..she may not have many books out now but 2, but in my eyes she holds court in awesome writing even over the much respected SEP..keep up the good work rachel. i'm a die hard fan now! ( 5 stars is not enough )

Summary: GOOD ROMANCE
Review: I went to buy this book only after reading the many good reviews. Honestly, it's a good book that lives up to the standard of what a good romance should be. It has all the elements to be attractive and appealing to readers - the handsome man, the gorgeous lady, the tension, the final realisation... And yet, one cannot help but to compare Rachel Gibson with Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Their styles of writing are rather similar but while Rachel Gibson can create great characters, they are not as "memorable" and as "irresistible" as those created by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Anyway, I'm glad that now I do have a choice besides SEP. Nonetheless, a big applause to Rachel Gibson. (I really liked the ending, but then it's so SEP's style) Just a endnote: the basic storyline reminds me of SEP's Fancy Pants, of which I like better.

Review: After falling head over heels for "Truly Madly Yours" I hoped "Simply Irresistible" wouldn't let me down. IT DID NOT !! What a great book! Georgeanne Howard has to be one of the freshest characters I've read about in ages. A woman with what many would consider a less than perfect figure, a limited education ( and a learning disability), and the guts and grace to overcome even the highest hurdles life puts in her path! Even big, rough-tough pro hockey player John "The Wall" Kowalsky can't resist her sweet Southern charm! Rescuing her from marrying his aging boss was not what John expected and certainly not what Georgeanne bargained for, and after one night together their futures are changed forever. It's a sweet, romantic love story, with characters you can't help but root for. Get this one today! You'll love it, too!!!!!
