Rating: Summary: Powerful and intense story! Review: I really love Karen Marie Moning's storytelling and this is a splendid tale. It has intrigue, mystical elements and tres hot romance. I have to admit, Grimm & Jillian are not as well developed as the main characters in the other Moning books I've read. I enjoyed the book, but it isn't quite the magic of her other books.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful New Author for Me Review: I was hesitant to reading Moning because I had heard such good things and part of me just did not feel like being let down, but since the book was only $3.99, I said lets give it a try. I am glad i did, this was a magnificent book, the story line, the characters, the emotions. My only small problem was that it took so long for him to find out the truth, when he knew himself that it could never happen to him. But the passionate emotion of the main characters was just true love. I will defintely read the rest of her books.

Rating: Summary: Berserker hero gets nailed by Cupid! Review: I'm pretty surprised to find "To Tame A Highland Warrior" a pleasant read. It's a much better and polished book compared to the author's debut. So what if the characters in this book have linguistic terminologies a few centuries ahead of their contemporaries? I manage to overlook that and hence, enjoyed this good story with the amusingly obtuse yet charming Grimm and the headstrong heroine.Sure, there could be room for improvements - the language, a better fleshing out of the relationship between Grimm and his girlfriend (instead of emphasizing on the external intrigue plot), but all in all, it's a very nice way to spend a lazy afternoon. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this author's next book.
Rating: Summary: A Good Read Review: It was nice to see an element of the supernatural in a romance story that was somehow fantastic and believable. Grimm is a warrior belonging to a legendary race who hides his identity to elude those who would chase him. Yet he's willing to risk it all to return to his past to help Jillian when her father sends a summons. She loves him but doesn't know his secret, so he tries to push her away and hide his love to keep her safe from his past. Fun and romantic, this was an excellent way to spend a rainy day.
Rating: Summary: Don't Miss Reading This One Review: Jillian and Grimm are truly wonderful characters and perfect for each other. Karen has out done herself in her second novel, a follow up to Beyond The Highland Mist (another great story). I would highly recommend this book to everyone. The ledgend, the characters, the romance, it doesn't get much better then this.
Rating: Summary: This is a fast paced romance with a twist Review: Karen has written another winner, surpassing her first novel in content, structure and character development. I honestly didn't think she could create characters more engrossing than she did in Beyond The Highland Mist, but the lives of the characters in To Tame A Highland Warrior grabs you and never lets go til the book ends. It's one of those stories that's so good you start reading slower toward the end because you don't want it to end. Grimm Roderick the run away son of a highland laird is dark, handsome and mysterious. The Ultra warrior of Scotland afraid to love the woman he wants because it could cost her her life. Jillian St. Clair is beautiful and headstrong, swearing she will never marry because she was rejected by the one man she has loved since childhood, Grimm Roderick. You just have to read this fantastic story to understand the depth of the characters Karen Moning has created. This one is a keeper, to be read again and again. Miss Moning is a must buy for me.
Rating: Summary: The Mysterious Berserker Review: Karen Marie Moning is a write to make any woman swoon. He historical time traveling tales are breath taking...just like her men. I will say this, as a simple piece of advice, DON'T read all of her books back to back. It is a series, but it isn't. You DO NOT have to read them in any kind of order. However, if you read them back to back, the stories are VERY similar with slightly different twist and they may seem a bit redundant. Grimm and Jillian are quite the pair. Grimm is a Berserker with a past that haunts him dearly. Jillian is as bull headed as him but she is the one who found Grimm as a child and helped give him a "normal" life. Where their feelings for each other are concerned, both are bull-headed. Hard to get, on both sides, is putting it mildly. Pretty much a Beauty and the Beast plot. I think that gives enough away right there. Story wise, this was my favorite. Made me want to really read more on Berserker's...and fine ice blue eyes. Man wise...NOT EVEN CLOSE! Excellent story. Strong characters. And leaves you wanting to know more. DEFINITELY READ THE OTHERS!!!
Rating: Summary: I loved her first book Review: The heroine's father summoned three men from her past so she could choose a husband from among them. The hero hadn't been back since he'd left her years ago. He was afraid to consumate their love because he couldn't risk loving/hurting her being a beserker. He now tries acting indifferent and I think this "courtship" went on way too long in the book and would rather have read more of his family of berserkers instead.
