Summary: Grayson Thane Makes All the Difference
Review: Grayson Thane as the "romantic hero" is what sets this book apart from the rest. He is such an intriguing (not to mention complex) character that he thoroughly breaks the mold of the normal man in a romance novel. He is scarred from a bad past, he's funny, and he isn't physically perfect. He comes through on the page not just as a male lead in a romance novel, but instead as a genuine human being with very real thoughts and emotions. The chemistry between him and Brianna Concannon is undeniable, and they make the ideal couple. If you like Nora Roberts, you'll obviously love this book. But even if you aren't usually a fan of Roberts's books, try this one out. The characters and settings are both beautifully drawn, and the love story is very genuine.

Summary: Boring
Review: I enjoy reading books by Nora Roberts, but somehow, Born In Ice just bored me. Nothing in the story "capitvated" or "grabbed" me, I found it sooo sloooow and I just could not get into the book.

Summary: Romantic Leads, Redefined
Review: What? So Nora Roberts wants us to think that an attractive man is one with an average build, a good sense of humor, lots of imagination, and plenty of maturity?

So Nora Roberts wants us to think that an attractive woman is one with an average body, huge sense of loyalty, a high work ethic, and plenty of maturity?

So Nora Roberts wants us to think that it's romantic for a man to hide in the bathroom so he can spend the night in his love's hospital room? For a man to bribe his love's mother with a gift. To think of his love's feelings before his own.

So Nora Roberts wants us to think its romantic for a woman to wear conservative clothes, make a house a home, and tell the man she loves honestly how she feels about him.

Yes! Thanks for the break from cardboard cutout characters.

Summary: I LOVE Nora Roberts Books
Review: Having said that, let me say that this trilogy of Born In is one of my favorites. In fact, this set was my introduction to Nora Roberts and I have been a big fan ever after.

If you enjoy Nora Roberts books, you will enjoy this one.

If you have not read any Nora Roberts books, you are in for a treat. The way Nora Roberts weaves romance with healing, familial ties, and Ireland is wonderful.

Although this makes a great bathtub book, it is much more than that.

Summary: Born in Ice
Review: I love all of Nora Robert's books, and this one was not a disappointment. Her descriptions of Ireland have the reader drawn there - dying to visit, entwined with the characters, and enraptured by their love.

This is one of my favorite Robert's trilogies - they're more enjoyable to read than isolated novels, and by the time you've completed the set, you feel as though you know the characters very well.

Another well done Robert's novel.

Summary: One of her best!
Review: I have read this book 3 times now, silly as that sounds. But the story is fun and compelling. A great combination for a romance. Book two of the "Born in..." trilogy, it's my favorite in the set. The characters are very likeable, you'll find yourself cheering them on. Anyone interested in Ireland, even in a remote kind of way, will enjoy the descriptions of the land and people, the lilt of the accents, and the magic of the place. Grayson Thane--what a great name! Makes me wanna run off to Ireland, open a bed and breakfast and write a novel. Guess this book is rather inspiring!

Summary: Loved It!
Review: This being the second in her trilogy was just as good as "Born in Fire". I loved the characters and the story. If you love Nora Roberts books, you'll love this!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best in the Series!!
Review: Out of the three Born In... books this was my favorite. Bri and Grayson are the perfect pair. Both of them need something that they can only find in one another...love. It will make you want to read it again and again, I did=) Enjoy. If you like this one pick up the other two in the series, Born in Fire and Born in Shame, both great reads too!
