Summary: This Debut Novel Made It To My Keeper Shelf!!!
Review: Not only does Ms. McCarthy have a great sense of humor she manages to mix it with hot steamy chemistry and romance. Not an easy mix.

My favorite of the anthology is "Hard Drive." In this story Kindra is caught having a cyber love affair by the one guy she is willing to get hot and steamy with! Mack can't believe that Kindra would rather have an impersonal affair instead of a live and in person one. So he challenges her to 12 hours of unbridled sex. Kindra accepts his challange but the fun of the whole story is that they find more then buring hot chemistry, they find each other.

"User Friendly" was a sweet romance between best friends. Halley has it bad for her best friend and would rather keep his friendship then screw it up with sex. Evan has the same feelings regarding Halley. She stares in every erotic fantasy he has but again he is afraid that Halley would run screaming if he admited his feeling to her. Well, fate fixes there problem Evan's website has been hacked and has left cyber Halley without any cloths. Well, neither of them can avoid each other now and it's really only a matter of time before they each realize how the other is feeling.

"Press Any Key" is a fun co-workers story. Candy thinks Jared can't stand her and she is confused as to what she could have done to the G.Q. like man to have him be so upset. Jared on the other hand is tooooo attracted to the sweet Candy and keeps his distance in order to keep things professional. Again fate steps in in the form of their mutal boss. He decides what these two people need is a counseling session online to provide help in getting their working relationship off the ground. Boy it does more then that!!!

This was a fast paced read with 3 very entertaining stories. The chemistry is hot, and the laughs are plenty. I eagerly wait for Ms. McCarthy's next book!

Summary: A hot read! Highly recommended
Review: Technology and eroticism blend seamlessly in Erin McCarthy's BAD BOYS ONLINE resulting in an incredibly hot read. McCarthy displays a refreshing gift for capturing sensuality and exploiting possibility in these novellas, giving reason to keep an eye on this new author. While office antics might not be recommended in reality, but as fantasy material they are red hot!

In Hard Drive, Mack Stone surprises Kindra Hill while she reads a sexy email from her online lover. Surprised that his very proper coworker would enjoy such naughtiness, Mack persuades Kindra to give him twelve hours to prove that the pleasures of reality supercede what her cyber-lover offers.

In Press Any Key, a previous disastrous office encounter burned Jared Kincaid on the possibility of dating a coworker. Unfortunately, his boss is determined that Jared and Candy Appleton work out their differences using three hour online counseling service. They cannot leave the boss' office without the certificate of completion.

In User Friendly, someone hacks Halley's website, replacing her professional photo with an explicit one. With her catering business on the line, she appeals to long time friend and web master Evan to fix the site. Soon their passion of an entirely different sort replaces their plots of revenge.

Summary: great new author
Review: These three stories are HOT! In Hard Drive, Kindra Hill is carrying on an erotic affair via e-mail when Mack Stone walks up behind her. Mack can't believe that Kindra would rather have cybersex than the real thing so he persuades her to act out the erotic e-mails with him!

In Press Any Key, Candy Appleton and Jared Kinkaid are advertising executives assigned to work together to get a big account. The trouble is that Jared is so physically attracted to Candy that he's pushing her away so he won't jump her bones. Their boss come up with the idea that the two should go through an on-line couples counseling session to work through their problems so he shut them in his office and tells them not to come out until they have completed the course. The boss doesn't realize that the counseling is for sexual problems and as Jared and Candy work through the questions, the passion explodes.

When her catering business' web site is hacked and her body in the picture is replaced with a nude body, Halley Connors turns to her best friend and web designer, Evan Barrett to fix her web page before she loses her business. Halley and Evan have both been having more than "friend" feelings for each other for some time but each is afraid to let the other know for fear of ruining the friendship. When the two do get together, the hard drive sizzles!

It says on the cover that Erin McCarthy was discovered through a contest on Lori Foster's web site. That seems appropriate because her writing is very reminiscent of Ms. Foster's. If you like Lori Foster, try this book, I think you'll like it.

Summary: 100% TRASH!
Review: This book was not at all what I had anticipated. First, it is not even a full-length book, but a collection of 3 short stories that are loosely centered around online dating/emails. The stories are about 70 pages each, and if you believe a great story can be completed in that small of a space, then you won't have a problem with this book. However, if you're looking for quality writing, characters with more than one dimension, and a storyline that is interesting and exciting, then you will hate this book. The three short stories are basically just sex scenes - there is no substance, no connection between the characters, and the scenes aren't even "hot." Skip this book.. save your hard-earned money.
