Summary: Can't put it down.
Review: Judith McNaught develops her characters so well that one is very close to them by the time the book is through. Matt & Mer have such a unique story -- what a creative mind Judith has. Her stories develop so well, you don't realize your halfway through the book. It's very sad to come to the end of the book. I also love that Judith brings her characters into other books. Reacquainting myself with Matt & Mer a few years down the line in Perfect as they help Zach and Julie brings back wonderful memories. In Double Standards, Matt's influence is apparent although he isn't really involved. I'm waiting, rather impatiently, for Water's Edge. I can't wait to tear into it. Paradise has to be my favorite; however, Perfect is a very, very close second. You really can't have one without the other!!

Summary: Paradise
Review: This book leaves me wanting more from Meredith and Matthew Farell. All I can say is this book has the passion, tenderness and excitement all books should give someone. It took me into a dream world where everything isn't so perfect but love is triumphant. This book will leave you wondering and smiling. A must read

Summary: I fell in love!
Review: I fell in love with this book right away. Everything about it is just superb! The story, the characters, everything. I had read Perfect before this one and even knowing how Merideth and Matt end up couldn't spoil the book for me. I could not put it down. I found myself laughing at the dialog, wanting to yell at Merideth's father, and just completely entranced by the relationship between Matt and Merideth. This is a wonderful book. I look forward to reading it again and again.

A keeper that you will want to keep reading over and over.

Summary: This book is absolutely amazing
Review: This book is truly captivating and one that touches your soul. I'm not usually a fan of typical romance novels, but I saw this in a drugstore and took a chance. I loved it so much, that I haven't been able to get it out of my mind and I was sad that I had finished. I'm not one to read books again and again, yet I will gladly relive the story of Matt and Meredith. The characters were extremely well developed and felt like old friends by the end of the novel. I found myself crying and laughing out loud with them. I also like that it is set in the present day. This book is inspiring and one that encourages you to take more chances in your own love life.

Summary: not for me
Review: this book had been in my tbr pile for months. i bought it because of the glowing reviews and only finished it fews weeks ago. I guess jm is not for me. sep, nora roberts and linda howard are much more to my liking. i thought it was so-so, nothing spectacular. just an opinion from an odd duck.

Summary: This book.............
Review: 1) A marriage to avoid scandal . 2) Husband and wife (i.e hero and heroine) got separated. 3) Hero and Heroine met again. And at this time the heroine was engaged to another man and was about to marry him. 4)Hero and heroine were, in fact, still married to each other 5) Hero made a bargain with the heroine where he would pay her a large sum of money if she would spend time with him for eleven weeks. 6)Hostile takeover by relatives, bomb threats.... 7) A BIG misunderstanding

Okay. Now where have I read this plot before? Hmmmm

Oh, yes! In SOMETHING WONDERFUL! No wonder it sounded familiar. Marriage of convenience, relatives who wanted the title, murder attempt....think about it, the ones in PARADISE are just the modern version of these.

In my opinion, this book is actually a remake of the poorly-written SOMETHING WONDERFUL (minus the kidnapping of course), add several ingredients from her other historicals such as: a self-made hero, a high-classed heroine, first meeting at a party, hero pursuing heroine....; oh! add new ingredients such as the pregnancy and miscarriage and voila! you got PARADISE, a novel *filled with the passion, tenderness, and deep understanding of love that are Judith McNaught's unique trademark.*

*Snort*

Oh, Please! The last thing I want is McNaught writing the contemporary version of every historical she had written! This book is just plain repetitive and predictable, and unrealistic/unbelievable at some parts. In my opinion, it's a rip-off from her historicals. Very Creative! Oh, one more thing, the heroine was a disappointment, and how could she forgive.........yes I know, there's nothing wrong with a very forgiving heroine, but in this case, it's just too much and nearly made me throw the book against the wall.

Can't wait for WATER'S EDGE and the time travel though, since McNaught said that they're going to be *fresh* and *special.* To JM, those are exactly what I need, fresh and special stories!! And all the best to you!

Summary: JM'S paradise, is the best of the best of the best!
Review: i have read almost every Judith McNaught book out there and this one is my all time favorite! Could a storie be more romantic! ......um i dont think so! I dont know what other people say but this one is better than whitney my love by far! I am not a big Whitney my love, fan though, I think that UNTIl YOU, is a better one by judith mcnaught. But paradise outshines them all! This is a great book , really! READ IT! IT WILL DO YOUR HEART GOOD.
