Rating: Summary: One of the best books I've ever read, if not the best! Review: Several years ago I had the first test of Ms.McNaught's book by reading "UNTIL YOU" and it turned out to be a big dissapointment that I swore I'd never ever read anything by this author again. I thought I just simply couldn't stand her 'STUPID, UNREASONABLE, big misunderstanding' formular, the one that I believed she's famous for. However, I'm lucky enough to give her a second chance by reading "PARADISE" though I knew this book would follow the same 'big misunderstanding' formular as her earlier book I'd read. To my surprise, though the plot is very simple-- A rich girl and a poor boy accidently crushed in an unusual circumstance that drove them to have an affair which cause them a serious trouble that change their life forever--the book is extraordinary capable to hold my interest from the start until the end. After finished the book I totally realised how truely, madly, deeply Matt & Meredith are in love with each other. Among hundreds of books I'd read, there're a few books that could make me fell in love with the charactors. This book did. I dare say Matt is the most adorable hero in romance fictions out there. "PARADISE" is an absolutely romantic, entertaining and touching book. The big misunderstanding in this book is make sense and painfully effective as it caused the couple the heart-broken braking up and a long separation between them. It also makes the bittersweet relationship between the hero and heroine more cativative. Although I also agree with some reviewers that the story seems to be dragged out a bit in the middle when the hero and heroine're apart, I think the author intended to creat that gap just to make us more eager to see the reaction between them when they meet each other again after a long separation. This is the book that makes me feel really good after reading it. I wish I could find this book earlier. This book encouraged me to try more of ms. McNaught's books. If the other books of this author are as good as this one, or just close, I'll definitely devote myself to be another fan of her books. If you like this book, don't hesitate to read "PERFECT" by the same author. Matt and Meredith appear as cameoes in that book and the book alone is absolutely a perfect reading. All in all, this book deserved more than 5 stars.

Rating: Summary: Unforgettable feeling Review: this is the first book that i've read of judith mcnaught's many books. i started reading this book out of boredom but once i started, i could not put down the book. now, i'm totally hooked. i ca'nt forget the book and continously thinking of the main characters, matt and meredith. imagining how they look like. i just hoped that judith had included in her book images of these characters...then it would be easier for me to imagine them in my fantasy. i am so touched by the book and wished for a paradise part two. sort of a continuation of the story...because until now i'm wondering what happens next. i love matt in my fantasy...as well as meredith. to whoever decides to read this book, i guarantee your enjoyment 102%. and to judith mcnaught: please write Paradise 2!soon!and thank you for the great book.
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected, thank goodness Review: Based on many of the other reviews, I almost passed this up because it sounded as if it was a typical, cheesy romance novel, which I absolutely cannot stand. Fortunately, I took a chance, and was delighted with the book. It is NOT a ridiculous romance novel, as many of the other reviews make it out to be. How in love they were, how handsome he was, etc...The book has a solid plot that moves rapidly along, and I could not put it down. But again, while the center of it IS a love story, I would not classify this as a tawdry romance novel. It had many other elements to it, which made it surprisingly good. I plan to read more....Perfect is next.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful!! Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read! It has everything you could want in a great story. I could not put it down and managed to read it in a day and half....no small feet this book is over 700 pages! The romance was wonderful as well as the story! I encourage everyone to read this!
Rating: Summary: Best Ever!! Review: Not many books can be called perfect, but this is one such novel. From the beginning, as we watch the characters grow, it only gets better. Matt was the ultimate hero; unquestionably handsome, intelligent, and even ruthless. Meredith was adorable, very sweet. Despite the heartaches, these two were very much in love. A great, great story, refreshingly original, and a top ten favorite of all time.
Rating: Summary: No other book has compaired! Review: My Grandmother has read 100's of romance novels and she always told me this was the standard to which she compaired all other books, and she was absolutely right! I finally broke down and read it, and I haven't read another book since that even comes close (although, I did love all of McNaught's books). The first time the 2 main characters meet and get together was the most romantic scene I can imagine! I cried just from the idea of such "love at first sight". It was magnetic, that is the best word I can use to describe it. I still go back and read those couple chapters over and over. I can't imagine anyone not loving this book!
Rating: Summary: Paradise, one of the best romance books EVER written Review: I have to say that this book was exceptional. I loved the characters. I laughed, I cried. I felt as if I were there with the couple, living each page with them. Judith McNaught is THE BEST romance writer of all time. I am anxiously awaiting any new books from her. I have every one of her books and I have not been disappointed yet. Even her new mystery books like Night Whispers stirred deep emotions in me.
Rating: Summary: 5 stars just doesnt cut it..... Review: "Paradise" has to be one of the most amazing books that I have ever read!! I absolutely ADORED Matt and Meredith. Matt was so sexy and soooo in love with her!!! And Meredith has to be one of my all time favorite heroines...sometimes she was so naive, I couldnt help but belly laugh. I love the way that Judith McNaught spends the time to let you REALLY get to know the characters...I cant say enough about this book...everything about "Paradise" screams "KEEPER"!!!!! RUN to snatch this one up...you WONT be sorry!! :)
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: Read this book!...and prepare to stay up all night! Great plot, I was captivated by every page. Thank you Mrs. McNaught for the wonderful time I had with Paradise!
